But on the bright side at least the Super Mario Bros colour scheme is in (Fire Peach is based on that after all). Always been an odd omission considering it's one of the first colour scheme ideas you'd think they'd think of.

My bad, forget bout Luigi cause I don't even count him as clone, his f+smash, his f+B, his u+B property, and yeah his own FS, make him on the paper already a different beast.

There's a debate in my circle where a lot of us think Luigi hasn't really been a clone since 64.

His origin as a clone isn't really in doubt but every game since then he's been more and more differentiated so while he used to be Ken to Ryu now he is more Sakura or Gokui to Ryu.

All I know is that cutting wolf and ice climbers out significantly buffed my main, the random button, because I suck with both of them.
 
So assuming Sakurai changes his mind and says he'll allow fighting game characters into Smash Bros. in the future, will Ken be a Ryu alt or will he be his own seperate character? There's no way Ryu wouldn't be the first FGC in.
 
So....even though that's a promotion.... guess that screen with them all together is really implying Luigi's a starter?

That's so weird. Especially after how Sakurai commented on him after revealing him.
 
You can tell Sakurai had nothing to do with that trailer because Pit, Dark Pit, and Palutena aren't front and center and fighting a horde of Smash Run enemies.

The Alph thing is kind of weird. There's a name change and everything. Didn't think they would actually do that. They usually just make them clones.
