there's no other character to discover other than the ones we already know.,
the lock on all star mode means nothing,for nintendo going from "no character unlocked" to "everything unlocked" is literally the time to open the debug menù and write a command
also,there would be no reason to show the roster in the video if that wasn't the final roster
It seems that there's more space for dlc character if nintendo wants though,but no one is left from the leak,or at least ,we have no rason to think so,other that the kinda stupid order of the characters,but that can be resolved with the dlc

I just saw the info that supports all the footage in the ESRB video being from one save file. And now I'm freaking out a little. I have to keep my expectations in check, but DAMN. This image is like a treasure map or something.
If we assume the leak is actually from the ESRB, they never played the game to begin with. ESRB don't play the games they classify.
The leaked footage is supposedly from a reel of video taken to show off the game's racier/more mature content so the ESRB can classify the game.

I like how they kept Falco but dumped Wolf. He was one of Brawl's best secret characters and every series should get a villain representative.

The newcomer part was for anyone not in the previous 3 games. There's actually one more character in the Top 5 that is in Smash 4.
What do all of those series have in common? They're all developed second party studios or studios Nintendo doesn't own. There's probably a reason why all of those characters are assists.

I've pretty much accepted it as final. I would imagine they'd have needed to send the complete roster list in the footage to the ESRB anyway.
Although I am always up for surprises and if anyone can do it it's Sakurai.

....that's not meant to be a leak. They're just saying that there are 5 spots left to fill a rectangle, and visually showed it with the random "?".
Just goes to show how thirsty people were for Mega Man... even when we've known he's in for over a year people still put him at the top of their lists! Great Victory Music for him, too. So many awesome Mega Man tunes. Hopefully the rest of the newcomers nominations have some good stuff too!
As for the remaining roster spots... that bit about Barbara being from Smash Run is interesting. I'll stay conservative and only expect what we have but I'm open minded at this point. Fingers crossed for Lucas, Wolf, and Ice Climbers!

Other likely characters in the top 5 based on reading this thread: Shulk, Little Mac, Palutena, Dark Samus, Dixie Kong, Chorus Kids
Personally betting on Ridley and Shulk in the top spots, since Shulk was officially revealed long after voting ended.
That makes a really good point about the trophy count.
Still, I think:
this has the right idea.
I'm still not gonna get my hopes up. It does take me from 'totally sure' to 'almost totally sure' we know everything though. So that's nice. Ever glimmer of doubt leaves me looking forward to the Japanese launch that much more.

Yep, I think we know the whole roster. There is no reason to think they wouldn't have the whole roster on the ESRB footage. Maybe it's not for whatever reason, but it seems unlikely to me.

Shulk's placement is just weird. If you add characters, it moves Shulk in between clone characters and third-party characters. If you keep it as is, why wouldn't they just put Shulk up one row to "complete" it?
If this was the roster, it would seem complete. Especially since Shulk would be near the "new series", and it ends with clone characters, thus capping off Nintendo characters. Then third parties follow. But it isn't the case.
Also based on this CSS, you can't add Dixie without breaking the Metroid row. If you add Dixie and Impa, you break the Kirby row. If you add Dixie, Impa and Ridley, you still break Kirby. If you add Dixie, Impa, Ridley and a single rep series character or another Kid Icarus/Metroid/Fire Emblem character, you move Kirby to the next row fully but break Pokemon. If you add Dixie (Diddy clone), Impa (Sheik clone) and Ridley (Charizard clone) to the clone corner, it would make Shulk (an original character) move randomly in between clones for no apparent reason.
I'll give it until wednesday(japan thursday) before we start seeing da leaks.

Yeah I'm setting my expectations low and say that the leak we got is the final roster. We should know in a few days anyway, probably Wednesday.
