Wouldn't this work as a color for Zero Suit Samus? Purple shorts, and green hair?
Did anyone check Zero Suit Samus' alternate colors?

I could see them doing it, but I'd want the one-piece swimsuit, long green hair, personally, not just Justin Bailey painted over the GBA-era Civilian Outfit. Then again, if Fierce Deity is just a paint job and looks okay, maybe it could work? I dunno, it worked well to give those colors to Parasoul in Skullgirls, too.

Either way, though, there's been no news on ZSS having a JB alt. Just grey, pink, and purple alts.

So using the logic that was established in this post: (if anyone can tell me who posted this originally that'd be great as I'll edit to give credit)

I messed around with it a bit and came up with these:

If Lucas, IC, Mewtwo, Wolf and Chorus Men (or another character) are DLC then I think this is how the CSS would be rearranged - Mother/Earthbound would become a multi-rep series and therefore go between Kid Icarus and Fire Emblem.

The version on the left puts the clones with their respective series, while the version on the right keeps clone corner and keeps them where they currently are shown by the leak.

I've heard it multiple times that it was said during the E3 Treehouse stream but the one guy who said it never came up with proof but some people want along with it any way. The streams are all up on Youtube so unless someone can find where it was said, I don't think this has been confirmed.

Explain to me which character she will come and how that will work. Because Ganondorf doesn't make sense a Falcon clone, but his body type matches and he can physically do the things Falcon can do. Dixie cannot share the same animations 100% with any character on the roster.

I don't know, the first rumor was spot on about everything including the name "Mii Fighters."

I doubt the second rumor a lot, it got Shulk right, Chrom wrong, and Chrous Kids are yet to be determined but probably not in. Also worth noting someone else said that leaker was correct but they got two things wrong, Chrom was out and Lucina was in (correct) and Chrous kids were out and Marshal was in (TBD)

Yeah, as not being suited for Smash Bros. That clearly makes it an easy guess.

Is it impossible that Sakurai would change his mind? Yeah, I would consider this a plausible guess - not "easy" but plausible.

2. He called them Mii Fighters, capitalized

Gematsu specifically said "Mii Fighter" would be playable, and that's exactly what the character is called in Smash Bros. Prior to the leak, nobody on the Internet said "Mii Fighter"... ever.

Huh, I never knew that. I guess I only saw "Mii" being playable from secondary sources.
I wouldn't go as far as to say that nobody ever used the term "Mii Fighter" (I'm just saying this because speaking in absolutes is literally never a good idea) but him using the term definitely does actually make this sound a lot more legit. I wonder why I've never seen that before, though...

Even if the rest were lucky guesses, calling Mega Man/Wii Fit Trainer/Villager at E3 is a too unlikely to be pure coincidence, especially when they got the name for WFT right when there's no precedent for them to be called that. That doesn't mean that the second leak from them is totally valid though, since they're separate events and that one's already proven fallible.

Of course, it's always possible that this was the one lucky one out of a million but the odds are so damn unlikely that I might as well start expecting it to start raining men whenever I'm feeling lonely.

I don't see anything cool for her moveset outside of her hair, honestly... Ridley would've many more possibilities. But hey she is in several really good games so it makes sense, and she would make sense as a semi-clone ala Luigi.

Dixie doesn't have a tail. At least not one that can be used with Diddy's animations. Dixie is not a playable character in this Smash brothers.

Ganondorf makes some sense. He's a large man who punches stuff with dark magic. His body type is the same as Falcon. It's not like Ganondorf rides in on a Zelda f zero machine or something like that, which is exactly what Dixie would have to do with a jet pack she's never used and a gun she's never used. There's a difference between Ganondorfs generic punching and Dixie using actual items she has no reason to use or that even make sense on her.

I'm starting to think there are more characters again. I just don't understand why, if that was indeed the entire roster, that the Mii Fighters would be absent. They aren't added by turning on customisation as predicted, and we've just found out that customisation can be accessed via the CSS anyway. It makes no sense.

It's also a very ugly selection screen too. No idea why they wouldn't make it a 7x7 grid if this was it. Although I suppose the extra room could be waiting for DLC characters.

Change diddy's character model to be like dixie's and you have a clone.

Clones so far in the clone corner have been 1:1 clones with their base characters. If she had significant animation differences, she'd be with the other Donkey Kong characters, but she can't be because it would mess up the entire CSS to place her there.

When has Ganondorf punched stuff, kicked stuff, been super slow and physically strong (in human form)?

He was a Dark wizard that transformed into monsters, not even close to what he is in Smash, he is a mage, he should play like Zelda if anything, but with dark magic and Boar instead of Sheik! (Talking about melee and brawl) or use a sword and magic like Robin!!
