So is it confirmed if ESRB leak has 100% of all trophies? Because if so, then that means all characters were unlocked.

No, there is nothing to indicate it has 100% of the trophies. Even if there were only 686 trophies, there's also nothing to indicate that all 686 of those have been obtained.

The confusion was how all the trophies had the number X/686 except for Barbara, which had 6/11. People assumed this meant different save files and that the footage was not all from the same account at the same time, but then someone noticed Barbara was 6th in one of the series of trophies received from a single player mode, indicating that the Barbara trophy pic might be just looking at the line-up of trophies earned in that particular game.

I want to say no, but don't take my word as hard fact. What I believe is they had a copy with all the trophies with questionable content as to measure what sort of rating the game should receive.

I think it's also worth pointing out while he was one of the most popular desires for a newcomer, there was still quite a bit of doubt over whether Mega Man would get into Smash or not due to the status of his franchise at the moment.

Pac-Man also had people debating if Namco would get a rep just because they're developing the game (and if him being Miyamoto's favorite character meant anything), so honestly only Little Mac felt that 'obvious' to me on Sal's original six character list.

This makes me hope Xenoblade Chronicles X has similar battle quotes style to Xenoblade Chronicles. Although, with a customizeable protag I'm still a bit worried about that.

The "Insert-Name-Here" Protagonist has made me so much less hyped for Xenoblade Chronicles X.

I hope not. We went from 290 in Melee to 544 in Brawl. 686 would be a disappointing number after the last huge jump.

I'm pretty sure the Wii U version was confirmed to have more trophies but im not sure. I'm thinking around 800 in total on Wii U personally. Especially if the ESRB leak isn't the total amount. I thought Sakurai said this game was gonna have way more?

Guys, the ESRB leaker does not have 100% trophies. One of the images has two trophies being earned (Dedenne and Iggy Koopa) labeled as "New", which means that the save file was still earning new trophies.

My point is that guessing one unlikely character could be chalked up to luck, but getting three (or more) of them correct probably suggests inside information.

No, it really is that farfetched that he just got lucky. He definitely had insider info.

Not that it matters either way. The only character left is Chorus Kids, and we'll know soon enough if they're on the basic game. Leaks don't matter anymore, and everyone will remember Gematsu as being correct for the most part anyway.

Well, I think it'll depend on how well the game itself does when it finally comes out next year but I'm hoping the early flood of fan-art (we collated a lot in a seperate thread here: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=837761 ) is some kind of indication of people's interest

I'd honestly make the argument inklings could've been in smash 4 without DLC if it weren't an EAD game. I suspect they go through hundreds of prototypes that the public never get to see so even with Sakurai's inside knowledge he probably wouldn't have known if it'd end up as a final product, nevermind one that would turn up at E3 to a surprisingly positive reception :3

It really got the interest of a lot of people during E3, including me! Those fan-arts are great! It would have been something to see them actually see them as hidden character in Smash 4!

I don't blame him. Capcom has put a bounty out on Mega Man's head so he has to lie low. All of him. All they can find is some of his armour in zombie infected hell holes and a fat guy with a gun claiming to be him. Like, on the one hand I'm glad that I now get to play as a female character (as I normally do when I get the choice), but I don't want that to come at the expense of a more character driven narrative. It's such a weird decision after how much love they put into the characters in Xenoblade.

I'm much less hyped now that I know about it, but at worst right now I'm cautiously optimistic.

Not to get too involved in the weird gematsu arguement but as far as I'm concerned, Chrom being wrong just made it less than 100% reliable is all. So much of it is already confirmed and there's only 1 entry left... so basically it only matters if you're trying to work out if there's going to be Chorus Kids or not and the odds either way won't matter in less than a week's time so it's probably not worth getting hot under the collar about regardless of which side of the debate you're on
