To be fair, Most of those years were due to those like me who were miffed about how he replaced the Koopalings and/or pretty much got into everything else.

Since the NSMB series changed that, there's been progressively much less to hate about. Now Smash is just going to do more to insure that they and Junior will be looked to as a "set".

Mario: played and own most of the games, couldn't tell you one i don't own
Zelda: played and own most of the games, couldn't tell you one i don't own (yes CDI too)
Metroid: played and own them all
Donkey Kong: played and own most of them
Pokemon: played and own them all (all of them in eu/us/japanese)
Yoshi: played and own most of them
StarFox: played and own them all
Kid Icarus: played and own them all
Kirby: played and own most of them
Fire Emblem: own most of them don't think i ever finished one
Punch Out: own all the console ones
Wario: own most of them, can't tell you which ones i don't
Game & Wario: i have that, never played it tho
Earthbound: own only Earthbound, currently playing it
Gyromite (ROB): own it, don't think i played it more than 10 minutes
Ice Climbers: own it, never played it much
Pikmin: own all of them including the wii rereleases
Sonic: don't own any of them
Metal Gear: own the GC one, never played it
Animal Crossing: own all of them including the japanese n64 one
Wii Fit: own both of them
Xenoblade: own it eu and us
Megaman: don't own any of them
Pac-Man: own the Miyamoto gamecube one, played it once i thin
Duck Hunt: own it never played it tho
F-Zero: own all of them including the shitty gba ones
Game&Watch: own 20-ish GW and all the gallery ones

i like nintendo
 
Probably not new news, but apparently Treehouse will be streaming the game on the 12th. Then again, I imagine lots of people will be streaming the game on the 12th.
 
  • Mario: Have played most of the mainline games, and a good number of the spinoffs. Favorites: Super Mario Sunshine, Mario Kart (8), Paper Marios (barring Sticker Star).
  • Zelda: Played a variety of them. Favorites: The Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time, A Link Between Worlds.
  • Donkey Kong: Relatively unfamiliar. Only played a couple. Favorites: Donkey Kong 64.
  • Yoshi: Played a few. Planning on getting Woolly World. Favorites: Yoshi's Story.
  • Wario: Haven't played any beyond demos.
  • Metroid: Starting to get into it. Don't think I like the 2D ones outside of Super Metroid. Hoping for a new 3D one to dip my feet into, otherwise I may just try Prime. Favorites: Super Metroid.
  • Kirby: Played every mainline game, and most of the spinoffs. Favorite Nintendo series. Favorites: Air Ride, Super Star Ultra.
  • Pokemon: Played a few. A bit too frustrating for me to optimize everything, so I just play casually. Favorites: X/Y, Stadium.
  • Star Fox: Only played 64 and Assault. I actually liked Assault. Favorites (duh): 64, Assault.
  • F-Zero: Only familiar with the GBA title. Hated it. Would probably like GX, but eh.
  • MOTHER: Love it. My kind of JRPG. Favorites: EarthBound.
  • Ice Climber: Played a bit of it. Don't really care for it.
  • Fire Emblem: Unfamiliar.
  • Game & Watch: Unfamiliar.
  • Kid Icarus: Only played the new one. Loved it.
  • Pikmin: Played all of them. I like it well enough. Favorites: Pikmin 3.
  • R.O.B.: Unfamiliar.
  • Animal Crossing: Only played GameCube and New Leaf. The others didn't interest me. Favorites (duh): GameCube, New Leaf.
  • Sonic: Only somewhat familiar. No strong opinions.
  • Metal Gear: Unfamiliar. Not my type of game.
  • Wii Fit: Familiar. Not a game series to have strong opinions about.
  • Punch Out!!: Unfamiliar.
  • Xenoblade: Unfamiliar. Don't typically like sprawling, long JRPGs such as it.
  • Mega Man: Familiar. Hoping for more. Favorites: Mega Man 2.
  • Pac-Man: Basic familiarity (who hasn't played Pac-Man at an arcade?). No strong opinions.

She'd be instant main for me. Though she's only appeared on Nintendo as a chibi so it'd have to be chibi-miku (which is fine by me :D )

Only F-Zero I really played was the N64 one.
Mainly because I was amazed that it existed. Always thought it was only on the SNES.
Never got a chance to play the GC game though. I would give them my money if they rereleased it though,

Someone had actually made that for me awhile back. It's been the only avatar I have ever changed to that wasn't Dino Crisis related. If someone wants to use it now it's yours.
