They've gone pretty in depth in explaining how it works. I think it was explained in that one Direct.

Custom movesets for most characters are alternate versions of their specials, which can be unlocked through Smash Run and used in all single-player modes. Only the Miis and Palutena have entirely new moves that can be equipped in this manner.

Equipment can also be used in any single-player mode, and allows you to customise other aspects of the character's global attributes, such as speed and power.

If anyone saw Japan Time, Zipzo explained how customization from the CSS worked and they had a clip of it (it wasn't used though). I think how it works is that there's little boxes and you can select a pre-existing one or create a new one after everyone has selected their character. The problem is that this works fine on the 3DS version since everyone has their own screen but I wonder how easy it will be for the Wii U version.

Australian Minimum Wage = $16.87 per hour

Not sure if the American wages are like this across the crazy number of states you guys have but it's pretty common knowledge America has shitty wages... Also, buying cheap on the internet is the way to go. Buying anything in Aus is based on the dollar value from the early 80's pretty much. Having double the American minimum wage though makes up for any of that. :p

Spiders make me really uncomfortable (though not to that degree) so I have his avatar AdBlocked. I'm not sure how consistently that works (I didn't test it across other posts/pages), but it might help you if it does?

I just thought of something. The Smash OST is only 2 discs, right? How many songs can they fit on 2 discs? Smash usually has massive soundtracks.

If none of the tracks loop and only new arrangements are included, it gives them some more space - also, I doubt any music from third-party sources will be included. It will still have some notable omissions, but it might not be as incomplete as you're expecting.

Did anyone catch them talking about Palutena on the Japan Time live? At one point they said they had talked about her earlier but I went through looking for it and I couldn't find it...

Have other custom movesets been shown or just Mario's? I'm really looking forward to seeing and experimenting with all the custom moves for each character.

Was it explicitly stated that those are the ONLY characters with different kinds of moves? Are my hopes of Ganondorf getting Shadow Volley in vain?

Since it seems custom moves are unlocked it won't be part of the initial information splurge upon release. Guess that can be something to look forward to if it isn't revealed in a PotD since I may ignore the OT for the most part.

Even though nobody else is getting entirely new moves, it's possible that other characters' custom moves might fundamentally change the way their specials work even with no new animations - Marth's Stinger, Kirby's Ice Breath and Megaman's Beat deployment, for instance.

Though expecting Ganondorf's specials to differ considerably from Falcon's would only end in tears.

Well Sakurai hates Ganondorf so it makes sense why he keeps his shitty moveset.

I can at least hope his attacks have less start up. It's disappointing when most other characters can consistently land their attacks yet with Ganondorf you have to be weary of his slow attack speed especially on his forward air. Which any decent player can see coming and air dodge.

I imagine that if Ganon's and Falcon's overlap, the characters would have even more in common than they do now. What are they going to give Ganon, slower and slower versions of Warlock Punch? And give Falcon faster and faster versions of Falcon Punch?

One set of Ganondorf's custom moves will have the exact same properties as his regular moves, it just adds a sword in his hand.
