There are more than 9 unlockable characters. What do you think the empty space is for? I'm calling it now. They probably withheld some characters from the ESRB video on purpose fearing that it would leak.

It won't get here in time for the game's launch. And every day between launch of Smash 3DS in Japan and in your region that you aren't playing Smash makes the purchase that much more questionable.

3 weeks isn't that long. Use that time to revisit the other three Smash games, or marathon some of the titles with Smash 4 representation. I also like the suggestion above to work through your backlog. There are ways to kill time; it's what our hobby is all about.

Everything should be locked. Start with just 8 or so starters.

Lock costumes, colors, stages, items, at, moves, music, game modes, etc.

I love unlocking stuff.

That said, i would include a password or something system to quickly unlock everything. Good for tournaments and whatnot.

I don't either, but good luck getting one on time at this point. If you do, it'll be over priced.

Ordered mine end of july, got it for under 130 shipped, basically brand spanking new-looking, but was supposedly used. Who would know?

Only reason i'd say not to do it is because you'd be paying too much and it wouldn't likely arrive on time. :/

Otherwise, if you're willing to spend the cash, whatever. Totally worth it.

if anything, i did beat those two already but i did get dk country returns from club nintendo so i guess i'll finish that. thanks though guys.

does anyone else have a recommendation for a 3DS game i should try out? im thinking kirby...

If you don't already have a Japanese 3DS, you're not going to have it arrive in time for it to matter. US release is less than a month away. Don't buy one for one game.

There'll be people streaming non-stop once it's out to sate your bro smashing lust.

Nah, I was just guessing since I bet everyone here has a backlog of at least two games.

I'm currently cutting through mine. Finished The Wolf Among Us the other day, working on Alan Wake now, I usually let my twitter followers vote on the next game.

Well then, SMTIV is pretty good. Also Beavely Default cause it's mechanics and battle system are great, that has.some flaws in its plot and progression though.

I keep trying to finish Alan Wake but man the combat is just so awful. My wife wants to see the end of the story, though.

I think the guy confirmed that it is indeed the retail game, sealed and all, but the store wouldn't sell it to him until Friday.

I'm sure somebody in the thread mentioned it earlier on.

Isaac is the main character of Golden Sun and the most prominent character in the Golden Sun series as a whole.
