Iirc, Area 6 is indeed on Corneria.

Look at PSABR on the PS3/Vita for an example of a game being the same on two different platforms.

Yeah, the "We're treating the 3DS version as Smash 4 and the WiiU version as smash 5" thing is obviously bullshit.

They're very clearly different versions of the same thing, the WiiU version would have more characters if it was meant to be smash 5.

What if there was a way to number things in order? Say chronological order of release? Is such a thing possible? And then internal names are a thing as well you know.

But of course, I completely forgot about Sakurai logic.

Zelda's hat is the reason I get disappointed in some of the other hats like Villagers. It's a clever way to add another little reference but Sakurai tends to miss the opportunities. In this case, the horned helmets of old.

Idk why Kirby's copy abilities aren't just cool hats. No, he entirely transforms into something weird. It should just be a cool hat based on the character.

Because it's based on his powers in the games... And there it's not only hats. Being Kirby Sakurai's character I think he is the best at choosing how he transforms.

Different versions of the same fighting engine. It's basically 'Smash Bros 4, version 2"

Smash 5 would imply a different fighting engine to me, the same way that 64, melee, brawl played very differently. Same way Street fighter 2, 3, and 4 played very differently, while their "turbo" and "ultra" versions were just altered versions of the same engine.

But whatever, if sakurai says it's smash bros 5, then it is I guess. What will solidify it is if the next smash bros is '6'

Would be really technical. Might work. I was just thinking down B would sink you into the gound and you could come out at any other point on the same surface. Like metaknight's downb + egg roll physics. If someone is on top of you when you come out, you damage them. Up B is obviously the squid rocket thing. neutral b is paint shot, which does low percent, but tags the opponents. Anyone tagged with paint/ink takes more damage from melee attacks.
