Guesses for top 2: Shulk and Ridley

If Mega Man is 5, I doubt another newcomer confirmed before the poll will get higher than him, so no Little Mac. Shulk wasn't officially confirmed, but the Gematsu leak and his general popularity as a suggestion made a lot of people excited for him.

Ridley is Ridley.

It would be nice if Sakurai kept with the "ATs almost made it" thing and pushed more than one AT to playable status.

But Odyssey looks amazing, is one of his most popular Psynergy's and is Squire-class specific.

Well Judgement would tie in with Isaac's default element of Earth/Venus since it takes 4 Venus djinns to make it I think.

Think a cross between Olimar's/Shulks mechanics with Djinns for Isaac would be rather interesting. The more Djinns you summon the stronger your standard attacks become, but at the same time you expend them for your special moves.

Excalibur and the Megiddo weapon could both work as Golden Sun item reps. Excalibur could essentially be a sword that shoots psynergy swords like a Star Rod, while Megiddo's sword (forget the name) could simply be an Ike up tilt-style weapon with the occasional chance for a Megiddo summon that does Home-Run Bat levels of damage.

Ragnarok would probably work well as a neutral special (think Roy's) and Judgment makes the most sense as a final smash. I'd really hope Catastrophe makes it in, though. It could make a ridiculously awesome Assist Trophy or something.

She's an alien, and what your seeing is actually like a tank. The real aliens are inside "Stella" and they are like small bugs and very vulnerable when seperated from the Stella Tank. Don't worry, they are actually good aliens! :)

I get that but idk. I like the idea of Isaac doing it himself and Odyssey is character specific whereas Judgement can be used by anyone as long as 4 Venus Djinn are standby.

If Golden Sun needed boss reps, Saturos and Menardi or the Doom Dragon are obvious choices, but Dullahan would be such a great "oh shit" moment. Just imagine if he tanked hits and hit as hard as he did in The Lost Age.

We should do something similar to what the pokemon community does on GAF with gym leaders, except make it a "GAF all star thing".

We all decide who the best person is with each character and anyone that can beat every single person gets a special thing they can put on their avatar or something, and if you think you're a better character main than the current one then you can challenge them to a 1v1 3-stock to replace them.

Just spit balling ideas for community events.


There's also the "bowser challenge" where you pick a character and have to play against a team of 3 player controlled bowsers with team attack turned off, that could be a fun thing to do, set up a lobby for an hour or two each weekend, stream it and let people get on a waiting list to join or something, if you lose it's the next persons turn.

I don't think anyone's actually beaten that challenge when it's been all competitive players playing.

Fun fact: Isaac will practically be a retro character by the time Smash 6 (the one after 3DS/Wii U) is being developed.

"Smash Six" would be a pretty great title already. Reminds me of Fast and the Furious.
