I suspected Zelda/Sheik would be highly ranked seeing as it's a 2-for-1 deal in terms of voting, but Zelda is my favourite character to play as so I'm pretty happy anyway. :3

This is so fake it hurts.

Yep. If they "had" it they would take pictures.

I'm still sitting firmly on #TeamThat'sit. Sakurai said back when Robin's trailer hit they were hitting the bottom of the barrel for trailers. A final five + DHD and Bowser Jr seems way more than "bottom of the barrel" to me.

1. Link
2. Falcon

You guys didn't vote for Fox so I hate you all.

That's my guess as well.

I think I was Link/Cpt.Falcon/Ice Climbers.

At least that's what I meant to vote for. Almost assuredly link number 1.

If Link wins, though, It's likely because he cheated, and had 3 characters in one. That and toon link was a BOSS in brawl.

No way Link and Captain Falcon aren't the top two.

Which means Wario didn't even make the top 20. I'll hold this against you forever, SmashGAF.

Unless there's a tie, I don't see Link making the list. It's Smash Link after all. Fox and Captain Falcon will probably nab #1 and #2 respectively.

I voted for him.

You heavily underestimate the huge fanboner of the Zelda people here in SmashGAF. I'm sincerely surprised Ganon didn't make the Top 5, let alone the Top 10.

Here are the rankings leading up to the final 2. I've updated it to include the breakdown of 1st/2nd/3rd votes so you can see just how things came out. I also fixed the rankings to work with all the ties that happened, so characters ranks will be a little different than what the banners have listed.

Pretty good work.

Did the Falcon break 100 votes???????

We wil find out.

Stuff like Ms. Pac-Man already proves this leak fake. Zipzo said the Pac-Man colours only change his shoes and one adds socks.

Well, to be quite fair, I don't see why alternate costumes couldn't be unlockables. Sure, some have them right off the bat, but that does not exclude anything.

I'm so happy that my main since Melee, Zelda, won the third place in the poll. I love playing as her and Sheik so I'll miss being able to switch between them during matches but hopefully their new moves are worth it.

I have to wonder if the common Space Pirates didn't show up in the Alimbic Cluster because the idea of seven Hunters armed to the teeth - with track records ranging from getting away with stealing Galactic Federation prototype tech, massacring research stations and conquering or outright destroying planets - killing eachother, all trying to awaken a cosmic horror strong enough to make a Chozo-level race go extinct, all just to capture a personal superweapon capable of immolating even the most heavily-armored Power Suits in production in a single shot didn't seem like that smart of a use of resources for them.

Apparently Weavel is a Space Pirate brought back from all-but clinical death, a cyborg made up mostly of cybernetic enhancements with a few shreds of Pirate biology crammed inside. His actual affiliation with the Pirates is debatable, iirc, as you don't really ever see him working with anyone save for the fellow Hunters in the endgame. The "we can rebuild him" part is especially notable because it confirms that multiple priority members of the Space Pirates receive the Six Million Dollar Man treatment and not just Ridley.

To keep it G-rated for the thread, he permabanned a brony and insinuated that she was unqualified to discuss human sexuality based on her being a brony in the ban message.

Just read the Twitter.

That's...yikes :(

It sounds like a pretty good taunt, but I'm kind of sad the glasses didn't make it.

Glasses would've been better as a victory card IMO. would've been easier to see.

Precisely! I made a point of checking out all three of her taunts, and it definitely didn't stand out to me as being erotically charged in the least. It was more like "Wow, this fight is way too easy. I'm just going to stretch."

I know, and that makes me sad because it's totally not. :(

Hopefully when more people see it they'll realize the folly of their ways and let it rest.

yeah, and maybe they'll swear off making Rule 34 ¬_¬

some info is just a tad bit too good to be true, but I'll stay impartial this time. #teamNewSwitzerland.

The demo, which uses the final build, has been reported to not have every palette swap/costume for every character.
I wanna say I remember that particularly Little Mac was missing the hoodie alt costume.
I heard that the pink sweatsuit was available for both the regular and wireframe versions of Mac.

Kraid was gonna receive a six thousand dollar man treatment, but then he got cut.

No, Mac had two hoodie alts. one pink and one green.

It was the final build, everyone had all of their costumes. Mac even had 16 costumes (half are wireframe)

Well, then I apologize. That was the night where there was like a billion "leaks", and it was impossible to keep up which ones were fake and which ones weren't.

From what I understand, Weavel went rouge after his cyborgification to hunt down Samus on a personal level.

This is what I'm hoping, since it would mean that we still haven't seen all that every character has to offer just yet.
C'mon even Lighter Goddess of Light!
