Yeah, Dark Pit's a clone alright. He wields the Silver Bow. He has red sparkles on his recovery. His recovery and all of his moves appear identical to Pit's. Although we didn't see his Side Special or Down Special, so hard to say for sure.Was Dark Pit a clone? I just woke up and missed the fight
I would assume that the differences are in their move properties.
My money is on Dark Pit.

It would be pretty hard to tell based on that fight and not knowing what has changed with Pit in the final version of the game.
Hopefully his other two specials are different.
As long as their move properties aren't the same they'll play differently from each other.

I appreciate the fact they're streaming, but they're really getting their asses kicked by the secret charas. They need to use familiar characters so they can freakin' collect em all and so we can settle these arguments!
That or they just don't list trophy exclusive companies at that point. I saw people mention seeing Kojima's name in the credits.

Not that I actually believe Snake will show up, but in previous games (at least 64 and Melee), credits related to secret characters wouldn't show up until after you unlock them.
