Thanks! Curious why when I click "Set as Playstation Clan" it says An Invitation is Already Pending - Is setting the group as my Playstation clan a totally separate request?

Attention Xbox Players.
We have opened up a subclan for Xbox only. Since Playstation outnumbered Xbox by quite a lot, we figured that this would be a good way to get all our Xbox members to get together!
You can all apply right here.
note that this is for Xbox only, so you will not be able to set this as your Playstation clan.
Requested to join the Xbox clan. Hopefully it's mostly XB1 players so we can get 6-man groups together for the raid.

Note: You can switch back and forth between clans guys, so if you want to have a separate clan to run strikes with your non-gaf friends with, you can just toggle your clan back and forth on Bnet between the groups you're in.

Hmmm I will look into that. There isn't many options in there other than approve and activate as a psn clan. Maybe we are still on probation. The lack of information on there is alarming

I took a quick look at the clan creation section on bungie.net and it appears that you have to set the clan membership option to "Open To New Members". I think it might set to "Open To New Members, With Admin Approval".

I still don't really understand what clans actually do... I'm part of EU2 but I don't really understand what it actually allows me to do. As far as I can tell, there's absolutely no mention of clans in the game other than my tag. I was expecting the clan to appear on the Invite to Fireteam screen along with my PSN friends.

Because for pages and days members of NA East 2 and 6 have not been able to get into their PSN clan. Memberships for NA 7 are not being answered. Some of us have spent over 2 weeks in a clan that we can't take advantage of. So we want to be in a clan together that is active and responsive. Please read the last several pages and you will see the problems

There are 39 PS4 in NAWEST and another 17 in NAWEST2 and 38 more in NAWEST3. 6 xbox in NAWEST3, just 1 in NAWEST1. We have three groups when we only have enough members for 1 and a half.
We need to reconsolidate and get people in the proper regions. Right now everyone is spread thin. Could people from numbered regions squeeze toward the front maybe?
It would probably also help if all the people who crammed into the main DGAF filtered out to the proper regions. I think that should be used as a hub rather than be enabled for clan. All of xbox is on it and has left the actual regions as xbox ghost towns.
