This Can't Be Life.

Different players in different matchups IMO. Well, not that I think Rufus vs. Evil Ryu is good for Rufus lol. It's just hard to believe that Justin won't win a single game, even if Daigo did so well against Xian.

Justin will win more than a single game. People are crazy.

Too bad we probably won't be seeing those Rufus specific combos with Daigo's Evil Ryu.

Daigo has proven he can do most variations of Evil Ryu combos, but I don't know if he'd bother with these. Not every time, at least; he goes for what he feels is practical in each situation rather than going for one static combo every time.

This.

I don't know wtf people are smoking. Justin can very well beat Daigo in a FT10.

I'll still go Daigo 10-5, though.

The Evil Ryu vs. Rufus matchup seems painful for Rufus, so I couldn't really bet against Daigo either. I'm sure a Rufus or Evil Ryu player (or a real fighting game player lol) will know better though.

I'd think he would prepare the same.
Just based on the characters he's playing against(Rufus/Gen), I doubt he would. And then there was him coming from a loss against Xian at EVO that made him look like he had no idea how to play that match up.

It's painful if Evil Ryu lands his combos. Take the Ricky vs Sako matches at EVO, where Sako dropped nearly half of his combos - it cost Sako the set.

Daigo's execution is looking razor sharp right now, but you never know.

You think Daigo will prepare for Justin like he did for Xian?

I'll be amazed if Justin doesn't take a round.

It's not about how Daigo prepares, it's about how Justin does.

Inherently I feel that Justin is a much better player than Xian and probably on a level with any other player on earth, but he doesn't practice the game and hasn't for a while. When he did, all he and Daigo ever had were super close matches.

Even if Justin grinded it out, he'd lose though. Ryu and Evil Ryu are two of Rufus' worst matches in the game.

He'll probably pick Elena at some point, but even that won't be enough to save him.

He played Elena for like a week in the post-launch glow of Ultra. It's not real. If he didn't know it before, he knows it after Bonchan bopped him at Evo.

He'll play Rufus and lose 10-4 or something. He'll adjust, he won't get game-planned to death, not in a set anyway. He's one of the few people who can play footsies with Daigo.

Now, if he played Nemo - he'd beat Nemo. Rolento or Yang, doesn't matter. No uphill match-ups there, just full license to divekick either characters bad wake-up game.

Second that. I don't know why it wasn't for Gold / Platinum. I have you lots of money Nintendo just not platinum money.
I bought a 3DS XL, Fire Emblem, and SMTIV. I feel like that's a significant chunk of change. :-P

Maybe they will send me a code by accident...

I'm using Koro as much as possible compared to some of the folks I've seen. I wouldn't worry much about letting him get hit because Mediarama heals him and gets Koro up faster from knockdown state faster.I lose a little bit of damage in some situations because Koro can be out of position for optimal damage but in exchange he allows me to get more combo opportunities as you can get pick ups from certain hits like a stray 2C or combo from a 5C hit. That's really the big thing, Ken can get a lot of single hits and converting off them is really important because it really lets him kill fast. I can post a bit more detailed stuff in the actual P4U2 thread.

info would be great, since I'm gonna pick him up when it comes state side. From what I saw another guy do, that dp move(back air kick?) of koro is pretty good and the flame super seems safe. But still day 1 stuff

I got a smash code thanks to a generous benefactor and it is going to take a while to get used to the 3DS layout after being used to a GCN controller for like a decade

Impressions when you can. Would be nice to get some perspective from some of the FGW guys.

Flame Super is fairly safe but might still be punishable. it can be used in the air and when Koro is behind an opponent though which can be used as a tool to force opponents to not go nuts on you or a punish. Flame super can also be combo'd If you're using the EX version of it. I may get into details this weekend when I get a chance to sit down.

I see Justin stream USF4 all the time and the man goes to majors and travels the country every month.

If that isn't practicing the game I don't know what is.

Damnit, won't be able to edit the code doc until I get home from work. Google Docs y u no allow mobile editing?

Anyone wanna donate a code to Eurodouche like me? :)

Well I've been watch that for 10 minutes and forgot what I was going to post.

I might quit Smash Bros because of this.

Which is like £700

He streams himself playing random characters against ranked competition or his subs. He never plays Rufus.

He plays tournament, but there's no new tech. He's not grinding the game at all - by his own admission.
