Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS - Club Nintendo Platinum Demo Sharing Thread

Still got one NA code left to spare. Looking to trade for the Destiny collector's edition digital content. PS3 or PS4. I can throw in a bit of cash to even out the deal. PM if interested.

All these people trading games for codes... Um, I have a spare copy of Bad Rats on Steam, I will trade for a Smash demo code. EU only.

I'm serious btw.

Already got my code, but I know a few people who would like to join the fun. If anyone has some extra, I'd gladly take them. Thanks.

For fucks sake, is using the spreadsheet list so incredibly difficult?

Well since I wan't opted into the emails it looks like I won't be getting one, would really appreciate an extra code if someone's got it

I tried to edit my previous response but can't seem to get it removed. I was #337 or so and recieved a code from ElectricBlanketFire. Thanks again!

Dang ya'll, the Smash hype is real. I want a demo today too and all, but jeez the public version is gonna be out in a little less than a week.

Nintendo is saved forever.

Heres how it went down. No one is manipulating shit except for those assholes early on.

  1. Thread was created at 10:14am PST.
  2. NeoGAF started adding themselves to the open spreadsheet list.
  3. Jackasses started cheating so the list got locked and Jetku started adding people manually. This was around 10:30am PST.
  4. Jetku made a new spreadsheet copying over the details from the old one and updated OP.
  5. Around 11:45am PST Jetku replaced the editable list with a sign up form. First 150 users or so from the original list were maintained.
  6. Apparently an hour and a half after the thread was started you reread OP and entered your name into the form.

I do hope you get a code though because you did post in the thread rather early on.

Thanks. That's more or less right.

The spreadsheet itself was a problem because so many people couldn't edit it. Not sure why. Maybe due to mobile devices?

After the instances of cheating and numerous people stating that they couldn't update the sheet, I got a tip to use the form, created the form and a new spreadsheet, and ported the data at the time. I deleted the old spreadsheet. The new one persists the original folks who signed up.

I manually added people from the first page who posted before I got the spreadsheet up. It was never meant to be maintained manually by me, as that's just not possible. I never suggested ANYONE post in the topic that they simply want a code, or for someone to add them. That's just not manageable.

The list hasn't worked well, but it's allowed some people to get codes.
