They say madness is human nature that comes from within. I say it is simpler than that. You see madness for me started at the age of 5 when I couldn't get enough of super smash bros. It started out small as I would play in short bursts. But as I got older, the more this had affected my life. But it wasn't madness like you may know it. I wasn't going insane, nay, I just couldn't get enough of the game - a feeling i never experienced before with any other medium. This grew exponentially the first time I played super smash bros melee. The amount of time lost to that game cannot be fathomed. And even greater so when talking about Brawl. But it wasn't time lost to me. It meant more than that. Because playing smash bros. Melee allowed me to bond with my father. Still, I wait for the day when I try super smash bros. For 3ds for the first time. As my madness can not be truly destroyed, I choose to embrace it. Because you see, for me, madness isn't just super smash bros, madness is life.
