called, he said I met all the requirements but the email. even though there's 4 other email boxes checked, the one I needed was unchecked.. even though I've been getting emails and meet the other requirements. this kinda sucks

Hey guys,
Please do me a favor and read this very quick. Like many of you, I was a platinum member this past calendar year who had unintentionally opted out of the Nintendo emails which halted the distribution of codes for members who met all of the other requirements. In another thread, someone had mentioned that they called the nintendo help line for more information, and it has been met with mixed results.
I decided to give them a call myself, was incredibly polite and thanked them for taking so many of the same call. Upon asking them about the code, I got a definitive answer on the distribution, and what to do if you meet all of the requirements for it:
1) the codes are going out in batches, and they will go out through the evening.
2) if you do not receive your code, and your meet said requirements, call back and they will place an order for you to receive it tomorrow.
Hope it helps, and it should solve some of the irritation and uneasiness about missing out on the fun. Just be patient!
