I love everything about this game. The UI, the menu music, the soundtrack, the visuals (OH LAWD THE VISUALS), the sense of speed, the load times....it's the perfect racer for me. I can't wait for this.

Am i wrong to be just a little apprehensive about this game ?. I pre-ordered Destiny and in my own honest opinion i got burned. No way I'm pre-ordering the full fat Driveclub. PS Plus in the first instance for me i think.

This was my thoughts too. Stepped out the ForzaH2 demo and fired up twitch to catch the guy streaming DC. Its a nice looking racing game, but the difference between the two is jarring. I'll leave it at that.

The game is playing on not the best quality, and people are trolling. I thought it looked fine, and can't wait to play it, but I'm prob gonna get Alien Isolation first, and just get the ps+ version before upgrading.

Yeah, sounds like the PS Plus edition is the best bet for you.

Track towards the end of this video just looks insane. That series of tunnels actually looks pretty scary fast (love the purple lights inside too), and he's only racing through in an Audio A4 lol.

They both scratch a different itch. And they both seem to excel in the particular itch that they're designed to scratch.
One thing I'm happy about is how both games have great senses of speed, especially DC. The higher-tier cars look exhilarating to race with.

Any collisions seem completely otherworldly compared to the semi-realistic nature of the driving otherwise. They clearly didn't want to simulate any of that and you can tell when anyone hits the guardrails at high speed or smashes into another car. Kinda like Gran Turismo arcade edition. Definitely feels a bit jarring because of that.
