I see. I guess the press release was poorly worded. Thank you!
To be fair, we haven't seen the actual press release yet, just two different site's broken-embargo reporting of it.

Here's the OT from the FF13 demo from back in the day, released under similar circumstances.

There's lessons to be learned from that thread.
Fair enough, but the fact that the conversation now turns to "Would you rather pay $x or $y for a demo?", with neither option being $0, is really what people are unhappy about.I... don't see the difference between this? So SE is at fault for giving people who don't want to buy Type-0 an alternative means of getting the demo?
I think it's weird that people would feel better about this being exclusively with Type-0. Some gaffers have already played Type-0, didn't like it, and would like to play the FFXV demo, without having to pay as much.
Late to this but![]()
Can't wait. Might have to import. My first Pas3 was the Cloud Black Edition that came with the XIII demo. Hype hype hype!

So if FFXV is showing up with a new trailer we should be seeing it in 10-12 hours, correct?
Are we seeing anything new from FFXV before the demo's release?
So I'm confused. Is there a physical release for this or not?

I believe that's correct
They'd probably wait for the TGS be over before releasing the trailer to the public tough.

Are you an insider?
Link in the OP is dead. Anyone have another one?
kotaku posted a screencap after GI pulled the story.
I don't know why GI pulled the story unless it was earlier than it was supposed to be (i.e. TGS leak)

Speculation here but, I wonder if SE is going to use this as an excuse to charge $60 for Type-0.
They can take all of it!Speculation here but, I wonder if SE is going to use this as an excuse to charge $60 for Type-0.

It was a leak. This is what Square posted on the official FF twitter account after the leak happened

I already assumed they were going to.

Final Fantasy Type-0 : $40
Final Fantasy Type-0 Special Edition: $60 (FF15 demo, soundtrack, key strap)
probably.
20 dollar demo tax. I think this game should be 40-50.Speculation here but, I wonder if SE is going to use this as an excuse to charge $60 for Type-0.
I would've expected them to charge $60 even without the demo. It's never been released outside of Japan and they're actually rebuilding it to some extent for current gen platforms. It seems justifiable for them to charge full price for it.
Day -6 months
Of course they are.
