I've stated before that the true leader of the Cult of Versus/Versus brotherhood is not me. It's someone who has been there from the beginning and is shrouded in secrecy

The person in question holds an incredibly strong interest in the game but doesn't realize how important the title is to them. They've become so fearful of the project falling apart that he/she began to troll the game in an attempt to subconsciously protect themselves from being hurt by disappoint.

That very person has posted in this thread even.....with their frilly red skirt, thick black glasses and pointy ears.

Yeah I was wrong during E3 and she was right, but yeah... I don't trust her much. But I don't want to stay on a bad footing with this community so I'll apologize and I'll keep my opinions on users, especially ones with a much higher rank than me, to myself. Formal apology. Now let's continue hyping these games up. At least, that's what I'd like to do.

Fair enough. And I'm not an insider for people to trust me with something, just a regular ol' user. Albeit one that is now known for talking **** about a mod. So I should shut up and give respect to someone of much higher rank than me. Again, I apologize for this petty internet drama

I personally think it'll be released world wide throughout 2016 considering there's no word when in 2015 the demo will release. Anyone think it'll be later than 2016?

2015 would make perfect sense to release FFXV in. It's the fifteenth FF so releasing it in twentyfifteen would make sense, even if they have to pull an FFXIV ARR with it for a while. I do believe that no matter what, they'll at least try their hardest to push it out in at least Japan for their typical big late December release, but I don't think it's completely out of the realm of possibility that they'd also push the localization to be able to release it (almost) simultaneously worldwide. Japan isn't what it used to be as far as console sales go, so it would make sense for SQEX to try to focus more on west this time around instead of giving Japan the preferential treatment.

That said, i think that if they feel the game isn't polished enough in Fall 2015, they might be willing to delay the game to 2016 just so that they won't get shit for releasing a game that isn't as polished as people usually expect from SQEX.

Kagari always keeps people's expectations in check and only hint at things when she knows something definitively.
She's one of the more reputable members, so I don't understand why you wouldn't trust her.

I agree with them really pushing for 2015. In fact around E3 I made a gif of what I expected to see at the end of the next FFXV trailer where the Final Fantasy part of the logo disappears and then the number 20 appears in it's place to show '20XV'
(I'm not going to link it here because it was a hack job)
. But I'm just getting the sense with the silence of the game around E3 means it'll be a little further off than 2015. 2015 is possible, and it's what I'm thinking they are working towards, but I'm still putting my money on 2016 at this point.

I don't know why but there was a strange disturbance of psychic energy this time around.Different but not unlike that of E3 2013.

A certain restlessness that ended with materialization of the actual demo.

The hype ritual worked at last.

I'll never understand why Kagari keeps saying Type-0 is like FFX HD when screenshots and handson all say is something in which they've definitely put more efforts in. Well, I guess in few hours I'll see for myself.

Also... the teasing of Duckroll about other news coming with FFXV are true or just trolling? I'd love that to become a toriyama-sort-of-related-news-on-the-new-project.

Same here. If the demo really launches around Q1/2 2015 then 2016, at least outside of Japan, seems ideal. I'm not sure if I hope to be wrong because if so then it will probably be later than sooner.

You realize a lot of textures, water effects and even the main character models were completely redone for FFX HD right?

We haven't really gotten images of Type-0 HD (like a handful), soo... where are you pulling this from?

They can't do a substantial rehaul or anything, so it is like FFX HD..
