I once hoped to see FFXII HD packaged with a FFXV demo, but hey, this is in many ways even better than that! I had no idea I would actually be excited for TGS this year.

Face wise, i'm with you on the 2011 version.

Oh, and totally forgot about last year Stella CG portrait, they changed her indeed.
Now she's the one looking like a KH character, lol. OG face was far better.

Honestly the pics shown so far make it look a lot more like paired back on the hair and lighting becuase they couldn't acheive that in realtime on a PS3 then a true redesign.

2009 and the most recent render look great. The 2011 Stella looks different in pictures I'm seeing than the most recent image (I don't know if the two are supposed to be different, but they look it). It's the only one I'm not digging out of the three. So, I'm all good!

That's nothing special for most games, but given the tortured dev cycle for the game it may as well be national holiday worthy. XD

As a shameless FF fanboy since the first.....I am hyped beyond belief. Sometimes I am let down (FFXIII (I don't hate it though) and original FFXIV release), but in general I feel like a kid at Christmas.

Really excited to play Type-0. A FFXV demo is just icing on the cake.

There was a Final Fantasy XIII demo bundled with the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Bluray.

The earliest FF demo I remember is FF VIII. There was also a FF XII demo. Can't remember the others.

And I will definitely be getting this game now that there's a demo involved. The demo will make the wait much easier and hopefully more hyped (if the fighting is fun and stuff, that's reason enough). I just hope it doesn't take too long for the demo to become available.

On topic, I don't even know how to take this news. On the face it seems like the game is actually at a point where it can be shown in playable form, but given the history of this title in particular it's hard to get my hopes up too much. :\

The playable FFVII demo sold a lot of copies of Tobal #1.

Released in late summer/early fall 1996. It was a big deal.
I can still remember the jazzy arrangement of the FF Prelude theme on that menu. One of the only times I've ever imported a game.
The demo also came with the US version of Tobal #1, as well as being included on a Playstation Underground disc.
