Commander sheppard at the end of Mass effect 3.....
One of the many creepy dolls that my grandmother owns. Used to scare me as a child, so I thought I'd share.
She loves anything that depicts black people. Especially the tar baby jiggaboo type stuff. She used to have Jim crow laws posted in the bathroom, but I guess she lost the sign when she moved. Must be nostalgic for her or something. I never ask.

There's a music events company called ATP, and amongst other things, they host festivals, typically curated by a recording artist, but rarely it's someone else of note. Once it was curated by Matt Groening, and amongst the artists he chose to play was Joanna Newsom. He sent her a drawing of her as a Simpson (or apparently technically a Futuramaian as she has pink skin) as a thank you for performing.

Always been fascinated by the military, and really enjoyed the ArmA series of video games. Had things gone a bit different in my life, I have a feeling I would have made a career of the military, so my avatar encapsulates what could have been.

Mine is a token from an arcade (Star World) that closed about 25 years ago that I used to go to every weekend as a kid.
It's Inazuma (well, fanart), a really underappreciated character appearing in One Piece and part of the Revolutionary Army. Inazuma appears as either female or male in the series because of Emporio Ivankovs powers to change a persons gender.

There was a thread on GAF a few weeks ago that was basically "Why isn't women's clothing considered unisex??", me and a few other posters shared some absolutely fabulous/positive images of crossdressers and men in heels. All of that imagery basically inspired me to start up a new art project.
I wanted to show some appreciation for feminine/effeminate guys and I wanted to design a character, so I drew a picture of the character in my avatar.

My psn name and GAF name are different and everyone always forgets what my name is on GAF. On psn most of the people I meet tend to know me by a recognizable inside joke involving dolphins.
So I use the dolphin here on GAF so my psn friends recognize that I'm that dude that laughs at the dolphin gags.

For me, I <3 Serena Deeb, an indy wrestler and former WWE Diva (who barely wrestled). This was her after a long title bout with then-champion Sara Del Ray, in Shimmer Womens Athletes Pro Wrestling. The two are best friends and put up some pretty hilarious pics--such as this one where it looks as if Sara is presenting Deebs' boobies to the twitter world...or something.

It's an older Oregon Ducks logo (though still sometimes used).
Back in the day, Oregon had a mascot named "Puddles" that resembled a normal duck for the most part. But students running the newspaper (i believe) began drawing it as Donald Duck instead. Disney caught onto this but instead of requesting that they stop, they allowed the university to use Donald as the mascot. I mean why not? It's publicity for both. They still have a "handshake" agreement and still print the logo on clothing, etc though the mascot at the actual games doesn't resemble Donald as much. He's just "the Duck."
