I'm level 12 and I'm wondering if its a bad idea to spend almost all my glimmer on a ship. I don't seem to use it much for anything else, at least this far. But I don't want to be in the hole if i'll really need it later on.

Today has been a very productive day: I went from level 24 to 27, i got a exotic helmet (helm of inmost light) + a exotic armor (crest of alpha lupi) + the Gjallarhorn from Xûr, i got some legendary gaunlets from a legendary engram (cryptarch gonna cryptarch) and finally i got this baby from a legendary engram:

A shotgun for the primary weapon slot, uses normal ammo, etc.

Now i need ascendant shards.

You can headshot pretty easily with some ARs too. I can drop someone using a Shingen-E in less than the time it takes me to let off 2 shots with a Hand Cannon and it takes 3 (2 of which have to be headshots).

If you get the drop on someone it doesn't matter what you're using.

I mean, I got to 27, and all i can think is that it's tied to defense (i.e. light is only on armor, updating armor def adds light, etc, legendary and exotic armor have more defense and more light)*. Do you have more BLANK when you light level? HP? Armor? Agility?

also, notice that exotic and legendary cap at the same damage level, unlike armor.

Another confirmation for those who are asking that you can get more than one Exotic Bounty at once. Still working on Exotic Fusion Rifle bounty and just got offered another after turning in two bounties from Venus. Man, these are tough. Still trying to dismantle those 10 rare or higher fusion rifles.

The first gun (Super Good Advice) was, but just getting the exotic bounty was blessed by RNGesus. The second gun (Monte Carlo) was decrypted from a legendary engram found while working on the 500 machine gun kills for the exotic bounty.

I'm pretty sure not being at the light level for a certain activity gives you a damage debuff that gets harsher the bigger the level gap is.
