I don't really care about people getting better, for the most part. I'm either courteous or quiet when playing online, but I kind of love it when someone goes off or rages in a hilarious way.

The exception is screeching teens and tweens. They should ban voice cracking before mean naughty swears.

Why are blacks the only race singled out?
Asain, Pacific Islanders and hispanics are also there. You probably just don't recognise the acronym as easily as 'Blacks'. anyway not sure what being nice online has to do with where this conversation is going other than the connection that people probably shouldn't be racist online either.

This thread right here (and the poll) tells the entire tale of why mobile games and gacha have taken off.

While we had the opportunity to shape the next generation of players who would keep games we're interested in alive and thriving, two thirds of us were ok with alienating people you play with.

Corporations had a field day with the people we pushed away.

Little jimmy telling me that he fucked both my mom and my sister in front of my dad pushed me to be a better player to get my revenge, so i disagree.

Online gaming peaked with Halo 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

At least I got to experience that before the downfall of online gaming.

Fucking snowflakes ruined everything
Jugding from my experience on neogaf i can say that a lot of people in here react like a snowflake when critiqued or otherwise challenged by different opinions. Maybe Gaf should not be to quick to call people snowflakes. We got a lot of angry little snowflakes around here.

offline or online, i don't like bullying since the start.
I never like the Idea of bullying especially random person on the internet.
and I left online since years ago to avoid things like that.

I dont think its online or offline though, rather competitive plays who are the culprit to online harrasment
I think co-op games are more entertaining, because it won't make us feels like have to kill each other throat

You don't have to be inclusive if people don't state what they (think they) are, or whatever other bullshit that is totally unrelated to playing a video-game.

This new generation of gamers would have had an emotional fucking breakdown coming out of a Halo 2 lobby on Xbox. That place was a circus of insults and absolutely hilarious at the same time. Your mum was a whore, you were gay regardless of your actual sexuality and everyone was a cunt.

Why do people care what some stranger online says anyway? We live in a really weird timeline.
