It would be great if you could lock your armor/weapons which would prevent the dismantle option from appearing. I've had a few close calls after quickly dismantling a bunch if useless green items.

Finally got my first legendary! And not long after i hit level 20. I got it by doing a match in crucible(one of those limited events on the bottom) and at the end got the legendary engram. Sure enough it was legendary. Its the same as the gear you get at the crucible store but i didn't have to pay a single mark for it.

Yup, they're brown, thats how you know their rare.
Seriously though, why are they always brown? I did get the PS exclusive ship, and its nice, but every other rare ship I've seen, or any of my friends have seen, are all brown, and thus basically worthless in our opinions lol.
i honestly doubt that but not 100% sure
I believe he's around until 2:00 AM PST, not 100 percent sure on that though.

Go over near the place where the speaker is, walk in to the speaker's office. Then, looking forward through the exit of the speaker's building, you'll see a black gate. He's leaning up against that gate, he's blending in to it ridiculously well.

Depends. What level are you? How masochistic are your friends? What level are they? Have you done the weekly strike?
If not you could attempt it, beat it in all three levels (what was it? 22, 26, 28?) and get 9 coins out of it.
So no, not likely you'll get 8 unless all of those above are met. Since he leaves around 9 am pacific I believe.

Somehow managed to scrounge up enough strange coins for an exotic helmet, woo! I'm also one mote of light away from being able to afford an exotic engram... except you can only have one exotic equipment on it seems :/

No not really. Lots of reload abilities.
Not really keen on its base Ammo.
Depends on what level you are and what versions of the weekly strike you've done. You can get 3 coins for level 22 strike, and extra 3 for doing 26, and another 3 for 28.
Otherwise, it's random. You could try farming the famous cave for a few hours, but 8 coins would be really hard to get.

Protip to everyone doing the Exotic bounty where you have to complete 25 Strikes: don't do Devil's Lair. Do the Nexus Strike on Venus instead, it's MUCH faster.
