Just walked to the giant door saw nothing. (i've never seen him before do I need to 'beat' the game or anything first?)

I even watched a video guide of the raid and everyone in the video got badass legendary class items at that part as well..... And I get shards.

Same thing happened to me. But I have 2 characters. Second time was golden, got all sorts of shit.

I believe it's 9AM GMT for Xur, so he'll be gone by now.

Spent a fair while playing last night trying to get enough motes for an engram. Got it, and, thank God, got the piece I wanted.

which planet has the best route for public event farming?

i dislike earth because two sections of it require annoying sprinting through buildings to access
 
I was up until 6am on the raid with some Gaffers. Was not expecting that! Awesome time though but we couldn't quite finish the final boss.

Anyone want to team up to try and take the final boss down? My PSN is SaneManPritch.
 
Remember guys, Xur stays for 48 hours only. 2:00am PST Friday (9am GMT) to 2:00am PST Sunday. He disappears when the daily bounties reset. You can even watch his timer or the bounty timer in game to tell when he's going to disappear.

I heard legendary armor pieces from the raid can go all the way to 30 light (instead of 27). Anyone know if this is true?

I do know they require 1 more ascendant shard to upgrade than the regular amount (7 vs. 6).

I'd just get it and Vanguard up to two at the same time. This gives you more options to play with and you also get to utilize a total of 200 marks a week.

Obviously it takes more work and time but eh.

On rank 3, I personally don't think it's worth rushing to 3. Weapons take 1.5 weeks of marks to get, and you might get lucky with an engram before then anyways.

Is it possible to just jump in at the final boss without doing any of the Raid beforehand?

You talking about that one particular chest or every chest? There were two chests before that point where everybody only got shards. Then at that one point everyone suddenly gets legendaries and i still get shards.... Im still pretty salty about it.

What's wrong with shards? Are you not at a point where you're needing 72+ shards to completely upgrade your armor?
 
can we like change this saying to "late thusday night/early friday morning" because the mindset i get from "friday and weekend" is bullshit~

Good call. Thank you. Does anyone know if perks stack? Like faster melee speed from two different parts?
 
Oh for the people that read me whining about 500 void damage in PvP i've learned that defender melee is void damage. melee is all I ever do in this game everforever so since I learned that I"m now at 320/500. sure not as good/quick as others but at least it's positive progress instead of my first nights 40-->27->50->20->80->60->97->40
 
Are there any PS4 raid groups, EU preferred, going into the vault of glass tonight? Like, after 8-9pm GMT?

I would really finally like to see this raid for myself. I'm lvl 26 Hunter and my PSN is Klyka1

I just really like the cloak that the hunter in our group got. Would have much preferred something cool like that over 3 shards, which I can get in two days for daily heroic stories.

Notice the Raid is now up on my Venus map but it's locked? Need Battle Gear. Where or what is this nonsense now?

Why can't I just play it without them telling me I'm not good enough? Let me decide that please.
 
Hi guys,

Got a couple of questions.

1. What's better for a Warlock? Sunsinger or Voidwalker? Or what's each is better used for? I don't mind going and leveling up my Sunsinger because I just maxed out the Voidwalker. I'm a Warlock level 25

2. Raids and Strikes. Can I leave and come back where I started? Sometimes I can't be just glued to the TV for hours without the possibility of eating/smoking/drinking/living
 
Can yall spoiler Vault of Glass discussion? A lot of us haven't had a chance to do it yet.
 
Been stuck on 27 for a little while now. Blah

On the bright side I grinded through 25 strikes and managed to speak to that guy who is only available on weekends. Now to get the 10,000 points... God I hate PvP in this game. It's just awful.

I honestly don't understand how Bungie went from making the fantastic competitive experience that was Halo to the utter boring garbage that is Destiny PVP.
