Hey guys a couple of Qs:

I've maxed out my vanguard 100 points, what are my options? I'm not a PvP person I suck big time and I gave up

Also some technical Qs:

1) Do vanguard reputation points keep racking? The ones I get from bounties?
2) If I wore the Faction band would I be able to collect points there if I'm maxed out on my vanguard? (although it's useless because factions need crucible points)
 
Is anyone else having problems connecting to Destiny on PS4?

I keep getting the same "marionberry" error code. Bungie's website says it's a problem with my networking setup but I haven't changed anything from yesterday to today on my settings. I was playing Destiny 7 hours ago.

EDIT: Nevermind, DNS problems, fixed with with Google's

I didn't work much in the first week it came out but now that I am back in a busy work schedule, I can really appreciate how I can do pretty much everything in the game without ever feeling like I need to dedicate 20+ hours a week to it. It's quite refreshing.

Aye. I love it. It's so relaxing coming home after work/gym and popping this game in for a few bounties and the daily mission. 1-2 hours and I'm done. If I'm lucky there was a good drop in there, if I'm not I'm at least a bit closer to buying some legendaries. And at the weekend I can do the weekly strikes and the raid with my bros. Dream game right there. More content can only make it even better.
 
So, the end level was reached due to grinding random drop items that in turn raised the level in tiny bits?

What a great system.

You knew they were going to cut these areas? You don't say. I don't have a problem with the repetitiveness of the game, if that's what you're getting at. So my expectations were set at alpha/beta in terms of gameplay.

Jovian Complex is a strike. DestinyDB datamined it from bungie.net.

Look, I'm not defending the amount of content in this game. Obviously its lacking. But I also didn't expect everything to be made available, when I knew ahead of time that the game was meant to constantly be updated. Am I expecting new areas all the time? Hell no. But I don't see what is so crazy about blocking off a few areas for DLC.
 
Would anybody like to run a few Queen's missions or the daily story on 28 or the weekly heroic strike on 26 or 28?

Finally got a legendary helm from the heroic Queen mission. The mission itself was pretty tough solo but the gate lord at the end went down surprisingly easily. Now I'm fully geared in purple armor and reached level 28 with a couple more upgrades. Hopefully Tentacleface has something cool for me this weekend.

Just to let you guys know, even if you're wearing your faction item, reputation from the Queens bounties goes to the Queens faction, not to your faction.

Fair enough on the strike. But.....blocking off a few areas for free DLC or Events is fine. Blocking it off for paid DLC? That's the problem.
 
Is the Queen's mission a new story mission? Or a retread of another mission re-branded as the Queen's mission/strike?

Finished work in an hour or so, have a new DS4, Let's go!

How do you know these blocked of areas are already finished?

Just because there is a door doesn´t mean there is anything behind it (yet)
 
The Queen icon above the daily isn't anything special either, just more rehashed missions with different modifiers activated.

This really isn't the Bungie I know.

So the queen strike gives us a guranteed random legendary armor piece? There has been people getting the helm or the chest. Can we do the strike multiple times?

I really want that helmet!
 
Did everyone get legendary chest piece from the queen mission? I needed gauntlets. :(

Also, does the mission appear again if I claim another bounty? Or is it just once a day?
