Get solar weapons. Kill the trash like you normally would, but watch out for being one-shotted by Minotaurs and that shotgun the Captain uses.

When you get to where you have to jump off the cliff, don't jump. Instead stand there and kill the minotaurs below. While you're doing this, a Major Minotaur will spawn behind you every 30-45 seconds, so kill him, then go back doing what you have to do.

Once all the minotaurs are dead, the boss will spawn. Gun down the boss while watching your health from his splash damage. This whole time, you're still on that cliff shooting down.

Also, a Minotaur will keep spawning behind you, but he's vastly easier than the one that would spawn before the boss fight.

Rinse and repeat. This was piss easier than last weeks.

You're obviously not going to run into a boss or ultra doing this, because it's not in the inherent design of the super. Even still though, you could probably rack up an absurd amount of damage in a suicide run and you still have the benefit of enhanced movement options to nullify any danger.

On a heroic or higher strike, titan smash is nearly useless, Blade Dancer stays in close longer. There are a lot more PvE enemies shooting you than pvp enemies, and they're a lot more accurate against moving targets. The blade dancer's ability in endgame PvE as it stands amounts to either clearing out trash mobs like the titan smash, or picking up a friendly. Without the damage resistance, it wouldn't really be able to do either. Again, I completely agree that the Blade dancer's super is OP in PvP, though.

I feel as though the problem lies in the original design of the skills, which isn't changing.
 
Has anyone seen anything besides helmets and chest plates from the queen's missions?

Curious if it will change each day. If not, will still be worth it for the materials.

Love farming Legendary shit from the Queen's missions and just dismantling them.

24 Ass Shards left to get and I've maxed out my character.

no, try and attack anything in harder modes and watch as you die as soon as you step out of cover. the super is only good because often you take people by surprise, there's no doing that with enemy AI. i can't use it at all in pve as is aside from stealth revives
 
Anybody wanting to do the nightfall? Just beat it in like 15-20 minutes. I have the ice breaker so it rips through the enemies and the boss. If we stay up top we need to have a guard in the back for the minotaur.
 
This thread still moves fast! Leave for dinner and come back to 5 pages.
So the queen missions seem to be a good way to farm shards?

Riksis is the guy you kill in the first mission on earth. You can do it on any difficulty. Think it was Restoration.

Draksis is the A King Winter Kell mission on Venus.

No, those are story mission bosses. One of them is at the end of the Restoration mission on Earth, while the other is the boss of Scourge of Winter on Venus.

Cleared the raid with a few guys from Gaf in like 3 hours. We barely wiped. Awesome job, makes me think the level 30 version might be doable.

Got raid boots to compliment my raid gauntlets. Level 29 now. Only need 1 more raid piece to max my hunter.

Only lvl 23 titan for now so may need help with the quests.

Awesome. Grats dude.

That said, I think it's about time we figure out how to get a list of folks to shoot invites toward for the harder content in the game (nightfalls/level 28 weeklies/the raid).

Would a spreadsheet work? I was thinking of making a tiny website for us to use. Would give me some practice on php.
 
Here's a novel idea: Instead of complaining about how OP Bladedancer is, save a rocket for the next time a Hunter comes after you with it active. Even suicide it with him right in front of you if you have to. No rockets? Two shotgun blasts at close range.

Problem solved.
