Alright, how do I stop the Nova Bomb or First of Havoc then? Not be there? At least Bladedancer gives you a chance.

There's a shitload more forgiveness with Blade Dancer. With both of those examples, you get one shot and you 'might' get two or three people. Blade Dancer, you miss(not likely) and you simply just melee again. Not to mention the advantage of either zigzagging all over the place making it damn near impossible to hit one or they have a medium range attack if you try to keep your distance.

In no way is it balanced.

OMG XD

I am fucking in love with the Queen for what she has done to the crucible at the moment

edit: Also, false alarm before: ammo synthesis may NOT be used in the Crucible. case closed on that.

Pretty much, those two are almost impossible to avoid unless the other player triggered it with poor timing. Each super has it's own use at certain times and if I were to choose any that I though were overpowered it would be the bubble shield in control games personally. I can actually kill a bladedancer using their super at least.

Bubble shield can easily be neutralized with a Nova Bomb, Titan Smash, or just throwing a grenade in there. Also you can just avoid the enemy.

I think both Titan supers are dumb as hell. The striker variant has a MASSIVE hitbox that extends so far into the air that it is impossible to avoid with jumps, and it can even crush you through walls with how far it extends out. Even when you see it coming it starts up so fast and they take so much more damage you can barely do anything about it. The Shield slows everything to a crawl, so I just see it and run to a different area for awhile.

When you say go back in, where do I need to go? I just went to Orbit and it shows the same mission.

Oh, it always shows the same name, but actually going into it will go into a random mission. At that point you can back out to orbit and try again.

You play titan, fist of havoc onto a control point and instantly kill three people, no counterplay. Same thing with Nova Bomb. Hell, even Golden Gun you probably could. Do the same thing with bladedancer, and you eat two shotguns to the face after killing one person.

Blink is really affective in avoiding nova bombs and arc blade. Fist of Havoc is usually too quick for you to notice and react by jumping in the right direction

If The Fallen™ had issued their Shanks™ those fire shields of 'Fuck Your Exotic Weapons™' earlier then their Kell would probably still be alive.

I've seen it done both ways. For soloing the Nightfall I prefer jumping down and just circling around while two Minotaurs live. This way I don't have to waste ammo on them as I nail the boss. Both methods are easy.

...?

also note how the counters you've mentioned are unavailable to hunters.

I'm not going to call them OP because the argument is exhausted and pointless- but Defender Titans are my most feared opponent in the Crucible, in any mode. A skilled one without a Warlock saving their bomb to assassinate him can completely run the table in Control, Rumble and even Clash on some maps.

Nice, on Temple of time I had 17 kills, and 13 were head shots with the Hand Canon. I was AFK half the match cooking..that was brilliant. Normally I suck with that pistol.

So, best thing about the queen's bounty is that you get good supply of legendary gear to dismantle and get shards from, thanks queenie!

Also I noticed the bounties for her are per character, so you can use all 3 slots to work on her bounties, that's 15 pieces of gear a day!

...who actually balances this game?

I actually find myself saving my Titan smash if I see another titan with a shield. I specifically wait for them to place it on a cap point and gather their teammates inside and then I smash the thing and kill them all. Even had a guy taunting me from within his bubble of safety by dancing and then I ruined his day by hulk smashing the crap out of him.

Hunters have no easy way of countering a bubble. Bladedancer and go in is just asking to be killed by melee + shotgun.

Man, I got a Legendary from a Rare, and I thought that was the luckiest thing ever, but then...
Welcome to the Thunderlord Brigade. Your enemies only thought they knew fear before.
i just thought of something, are each days tickets only good for that day? i've only done one of mine
doubt it.

arc blade inside a titan bubble is the most pathetic feeling available to players of this game. that was a fool-me-once type deal.

Nova bomb can be shut down super easy dude I've been sniped while doing it before.

You're very lucky if there are three people literally on a control point at once. I have seen Blade Dancers take out four people in a narrow area because he fucked zigzagged everywhere.

Also tested the titan's exotic gauntlets today which give a boost to your melee shield as a defender.

5 seconds.

the shield gains a small 5 second boost over the default 15 seconds.

RUBBISH, sticking with my Xur bought striker helmet thanks.

You can avoid them but in control it just means they get to lock it down, also I didn't know you can throw grenades in there? I tried with some of my hunters grenades before and just bounced and splintered off around the shield instead so I never bothered since.

And I've seen five people stand on a control point and get killed by First of Havoc. Three or more on a point is not "very lucky", it happens multiple times per match.

Armormentarium is better than both. More ammo for special and heavy weapon AND you get a extra grenade.

Blade dancer feels OP cuz you see it coming and can do nothing. But Warlock nuke bomb and Titan insta kill button aren't exactly super balanced either. they are all designed to kill easy when they are up and there aren't ways to really counter any of them. Golden gun is the only one with a bit of balance to me cuz at least you have to aim it and the shot is evade able.

Hopefully they make a Super-free PVP game mode sometime soon. The supers are just dumb for PVP.

They can take the fusion rifle out of the game too for all I care.

oh come on. I try to do that all the time but it's not "super easy". I think i've maybe managed it once if ever? it's a quick firing skill!

You absolutely cannot throw a grenade into a bubble shield, at least no grenades available to bladedancers.

Throw an AOE grenade in the bubble and it'll be trapped. The AOE will do damage inside the bubble.

as a hunter, titan and warlock supers piss me off
