Yup. Majority of the time is learning the mechanics and then coming with a strategy on the fly. Raid itself isn't too long.

playing some of the best pvp of my life tonight. I'm not a beast like some of you but I'm improving and love the way the bounties slightly shifted the weapon distribution away from ARs.

I don't really give a shit if anyone thinks the PvP is unbalanced or less legitimate in some way than other competitive shooters. These matches have been close, fun, and tense as hell, with tons of lead changes, and this last win includes one Arc Blade where I was shut down by a shotty without getting a single kill (yes, you can in fact kill bladedancers with shotguns). The supers may seem (and even be) incredibly OP when looked at in isolation, but they're deceptively well-tuned against each other. i love this shit.

Yup that's your guy, it also sounds like something may have gone wrong somewhere since he typically wouldn't wipe them just for popping back to the tower a few times, I think it only gets wiped if you play a story mission, strike or raid.

Yeah we probably would have had him given another half hour or so, the damage he was taking was pretty damn good compared to last time. Seems we might be able to take him out in 4-5 damage runs.
 
Anyone want to do a raid X1?

Doing the raid on Xbox one. Passed the door and up to the second part where you have to kill the oracles. We all level 26 and 27.

What level are you guys? And what classes are you using?

I would raid if you think a 25 Sunsinger can handle it.
 
With so many players running around with hand cannons and scouts for the bounties, the assault rifles are like gods among men. It's a blood letting out there.

I only have a Titan right now and they are shit in PvP

How come when I go to Select Destination, Rumble is highlighted on the left side? There also seems to be another icon there above Rumble. Kind of a yellow looking thing but it is sort of faded out and I can't select it. What is that one?
 
So for anyone interested, I finally leveled up my Universal Remote to the point where aiming down sites now increases its range and precision. It's definitely not a sniper shotty but you can still kill enemies a good 5 ft out, quite good in PVP but still kinda worthless in PVE content
 
finished all six bounties for the queen in about an hour.

now to try and tackle these missions.

Okay, Twilight Gap is actually a decent map in Skirmish if you're sitting in the mountainous areas. Wish the whole map was terrain though. The game's lacking in good terrain spaces and the ones that they do have are too big and too flat.
 
So... it's looking like the Queen's Wrath event will leave me with more shards than I know what to do with :P Might actually have to start upgrading this gear!

Is getting level 3 with the queen's vendor even going to be possible in the time allotted? Makes me feel like it will be something that returns from time to time.

27-28 but we have a mix of all sorts. I know for certain we have 2 hunters at least but I switch mine to gunslinger at the later half of the raid, we also have a defender, sunsinger and the other warlock type. (forgotten the name)

Generally it's good to have a mix since all of you will have a skill that will fit into the raid nicely somewhere, particularly having at least one guy who can self revive.
 
I'm not sure if the queen's bounties for PvP highlight how op the Auto rifle is for PvP, or how bad everyones aim actually is.

Yeah, so so much easier now that we know our strategies for each section and roles ahead of time. Can't wait to finally knock it out tomorrow, great job tonight to you and everyone else in our group :)
