Destiny |OT4| Get your ass to the Vault of Glass and help Timmins find better pants

Just blocked three assholes from farming the cave. Had a good reason for it too. One sent me a message prior to blocking the cave telling me to leave because of my level. I was playing as my warlock so I was level 20. The assholes were 27. I didn't paid any attention to them till they started hitting my character and sending messages. I decided to just go camp in the cave while I reported their asses. They were gone after I return to the game.
 
Not a big fan of Atheons Epilogue in PvP yet. It's way too innacurate. Do the stability upgrades make it more viable or is this more for PvE?

No the stability upgrade doesn't make it more viable. The gun is simply shit for anything outside the raid or a void damage modifier mission.

Try and get a shadow price, hard light or seguros regime.

Shingen-E and Cydonia are both very stable/accurate guns with high DPS, so they're the best Auto-rifles.

Big Chief hand cannon is a nearly maxed out impact Hand Cannon with 9 shots per clip that can get 2 shot head shots(I've had this fail on some warlocks and Titans, this is probably due to speccing for armor), the stability isn't perfect but handcannons shoot pretty slow so it doesn't really change the TTK.

Jigoku Scout rifle: Extremely high impact and range scout rifle, able to take people out pretty quickly at decent range, you can even pick off snipers.


All of the above are blue and have purple counterparts with different names

I don't remember the names of any other decent guns off the top of my head.

Checking out the Big Chief. Will have to be on the lookout for one of those.
 
I've killed two of those Tank Walker things on Devil's Strike now (returning to orbit after killing them), and neither one has counted towards the Queen's Bounty. Anyone know what's up?

Also,

THE HIVE AREN'T RESPAWNING AT CAVE!!! There's no one in there and they aren't respawning!
Edit: they were all dead. None escaped. We made sure of that. We even ran around looking for strays. None whatsoever for five minutes.

You need to land the final shot, kind of annoying but just go to where it spawns during patrol and you will probably be the only one there

Make the fuck sure every other fucking enemy in the entire vicinity, INCLUDING EVERY ENEMY ON THE MOON, is dead

It's fun to use and really powerful once upgraded. Unfortunately the stability is awful. It gets more accurate the longer you hold the trigger down but it takes a while to get used to compensating so you can get headshots.

Raid complete! Congrats and thanks to the gaffers who helped. It was a pity it was such a short run tonight but at least we got him. Got my hands on a pretty handy rifle along the way too.

Pity I suck with scout rifles but elemental damage on a primary weapon isn't something to be complaining about, looking forward to getting a lot of use out of this in missions with modifiers.

Darn that sucks. I want Suros Regime so bad, I still haven't found a gun worthy of replacing my Hushwind-D and I got this at level 20 in the first couple of days :/

Wow, did they change the whole "do X and kill Y enemies Z times" to make them easier?

I just got the "kill 2 enemies at once 20 times" bounty in four shots because I vaporized like 6 guys in each blast.
 
Yeah, the three assholes thought I was a chick. My god, the messages I got.

I deleted them (the messages) and blocked them assholes. I was going to mind my own busines and do my thing but I said fuck it after the third message.
 
Having a crisis on whether or not I should use my 12 ascendent shards to get me to level 28 to finish off this raid, or whether I should stick it out at 27 and hope I get some raid gear to use them on. None of my gear I have now is raid gear so it kiiind of feels like a waste using these shards on this gear that I'll have to get rid of if I want to get to 30.

i just got around to redeeming that Gamestop red sparrow DLC code but after I install it where do I go to get the damn thing?

edit: Nevermind I just had to check my in game mailbox.
 
So I was just at treasure cave farming for a bit.

And suddenly all enemies stopped spawning. I killed everything in the area and waited 20 minutes with 2 randoms and nothing spawned.

Was that random or are Bungie patching?

What I have been doing with shards:

-Fully upgrade my exotic pieces (I have a helmet and chest piece, and rotate between them)
-Upgrade Alternate Helmet/Chest and Gauntlets only up to the last skill tree (The one where it's 3 Defense Upgrades that all require shards)
-Fully Upgrade Boots

Doing this puts me at 28 with one Exotic and the rest Legendary. The reason why I fully upgraded my boots is because there is no Exotic for that slot, so I'd always have those equipped and never swap out (unless I find something with better Intellect or Discipline or until I get Raid boots). I haven't fully upgraded my Gauntlets because I was saving all my shards to fully upgrade my Exotics first. Now that I have done so, I might upgrade them. But I think I will try to get Raid gauntlets which would give me more Light.
