What we did was
put one person on each pillar in the circles that open the portals. The third guy stood in the very back and rotated to whichever side the adds spawned. When the guys come back through the portals with the relic we rushed forward to get in the front again so the 3 that got teleported would be teleported again next time around.

In all seriousness the boss is frozen during that time and all that spawns are 3-4 harpies at a time. They shouldnt be having trouble.

Yeah I don't get it, inside we have it down to a science. Unless there is a glitch with the portal I usually can take out the adds myself. Either the gate is not clear of adds, the people are dying from them. I ask what the hell is going on but I never really get a clear answer. This has been in like every group this week. The one time I was outside it was not that bad.

What do you do inside to kil everything so fast? Trying to read as much strats as I can for the final boss.
 
Ran the daily and a Queen's Wrath-- got another chest piece. Argh! Cleared out a couple of bounties so I inched my way closer to Vanguard rank 3. Otherwise, it was a quiet night.
 
I hate this fn game. I gave it up 3 days ago after finishing the campaign and getting a rifle for my troubles. Now I am having serious withdrawal because I want to raid with the homies. I am at level 21.

Is their some element to the story beyond the campaign? I wonder if I should just stop while I am ahead and maybe visit Mordor.
 
I don't understand why I have such an easier time with Control than with Clash. I played a match of Clash: one kill, many deaths. Then I switched to Control: on the winning team and first place by nearly 1000 points. I just don't get how there an be such a difference.

man... people are talking a lot of shit about pulse rifles but my legendary is a two-shot kill in crucible

after screwing around today with handcannons (i had to use the vanguard armory weapons lol) i've been running wild

I jump in the air dive with R2 and then bum rush with R2 on the ground to take out the minotaur, he staggers. There is sometimes a glitch though where his health won't go down or won't calculate the damage correctly if you bash him rapidly. The hobgobs die in one bash.

Sexy, but yet another Dustwalker reskin. Just like the queen's helmet is a nightmask reskin. It's always this way with Legendary gear.

This game needs new armor/weapons designs quick. I really don't mind the repetitivity of missions/strikes, etc, but I want more gear variety.
 
Holy shit. What's with those chests inside the far left building on the first area of the moon? Twice in a row they've given me a rare, 11 helium and a crap load of money.

Is it The Conduit? I just got that (instead of shards) for clearing the Nightfall.

Also yeah, Nightfall this week is waaaaaaaaaaaay easier than Phogoth. Just carry fire weapons, all of the encounters are pretty safe and have easy funnel/fallback points. Then for the boss just stay up top and have one person kite the Minotaur away the whole time and get free hits in on the boss. Did it on our first try (two 28's and one 27) in about 25 minutes flat. Phogoth took us around 4 times as long, albeit we were all one or two levels lower.

doing it now. yeah just make sure you clean up the area. go in to the right and clear spaceship. usually a knight a couple others and a chest! also chk the left for a thrall straggler. I wipe out the random dregs and vandals too. usually makes the spawning larger and quicker.

This is what my group did.
Have the relic user do the ground slam while having someone else use their to help kill the adds faster and get everyone focused on the oricals.

For more damage, have a Defender Titan have Weapons of Light +Illuminated equipped. Everyone meets in the middle while the relic user uses the shield and have the Titan use his bubble slightly behind it and have everyone sans the relic user step inside of the bubble to get a damage bonus. Shoot at the boss and repeat 4-5 times.
