Cabal really look a lot like 40k space marines. The big Centurions and the boss look just like Terminators. I thought the exact same thing as you.

Vault of Glass complete! That was one of the most fun Ive had with a game in quite a while. The feeling you get when the whole team "clicks" together and does the strategy flawlessly is something that I can't explain

A lot of people on other forums are complaining about it and the other things that force you into PvP for completion, but I think it's cool how they try to help you along to get better at all the different aspects of the game.

True. That bounty taught me the ways of the shotgun. A long range/tightened spread Comedian shotty then changed my game forever.

Some people seem to like Thorn for PVP. Maybe you will too.

Stay in the room before Phogoth where you can see him and plink him. Shoot him through the door. Don't kill him. As you sit in the room, a shrieker appears. Run back into the room before until it and most of the other adds despawn. Run back into the room with the shrieker, kill any knights/wizards that come your way. Eventually the bonus guy will appear and you wreck him. Easy as you please (bring friends).

i thought the same until i got a look at their hideous mugs

reading a few of the grimoire cards, there's a lot of information that i wish was put into the game. i mean, like what the exo are, i'm one and didn't learn jack shit about that. same with the structure and formation of the cabal and fallen, etc. etc.
 
Anyone want to help me finish the exotic bounty? Moon strike on epic and I have to kill some dude that spawns in the final battle

A random player in the tower, of all places, invites me to a fire team and launches the weekly strike(finally!). We don't even have to revive each other all the way to the nexus, at which point he "departs".

Is there no way in this game to rejoin the fireteam you were just on, friend or not? Because this stinks and since the checkpoint is before the boss even shows up I'm not doing it by myself.

Don't switch them. Just use Arc. But not a shotgun x.x See, the Arc Burn modifier is active which massively increases the effectiveness of Arc weapons. One of my arc fusion rifle shots decimates anything that isn't the boss, including shanks with their solar shields. I can actually kill the boss before he can do much of anything if I start hitting him on his way out of the wall haha.

Shotgun isn't likely to work very well, though.

I think I am finally burned out. I fired up the PS4 with the intention to try to get these last three motes and realized I just do not want to play any of these strikes again. $60 for easily 50 hours of game time. I got my money's worth.

I only had to do 4 solo Nightfall attempts to get it done. MAN UP SIR.

It's actually a pretty cool gun. It doesn't have a good charge time or mag size, but the Impact is the highest I have ever seen. There's a magazine upgrade which I may use over the Stability perk. This will be a pretty sick PvE weapon with that Impact, especially for Solar Nightfall missions.
 
Finally level 28!

So how many upgrades do you have to get to reach 29? I have used ascendant to level up my exotic helmet to max and then one upgrade each on two pieces of legendary gear.
 
Anyone know if doing the weekly heroic strike a second time for the week counts for the exotic bounty? I already did it this week but I'll do it again if it'll count.
 
Wtf yo, I spent about 30-40 minutes on Mars and the Moon each and I could not get a single public event. No wonder no one spends time on these planets outside of farming materials.

Really obnoxious trying to do this bounty. Should have just gone to Earth and farmed the treasure cave till the Warsat spawned.
 
Gonna have a little time tonight to do the Queen's Story Challenge for the third time. Hopefully I can finally get the robe. Enjoying the legendary Hood and ship, though!

all of them. that's the highest you can get, without raiding for gear.
 
I have a legendary armor, is there any point in leveling up the armor before the Raid?

I have updated it as much as I can without using Ascendent shards, the next 3 updates demands 6 ascendent shards each. got around 25 of them.

I dont want to throw away Ascendent shards on something I wont use after I get the raid gear.
