Anyone have the video where you get above the boss? Made it there twice on nightfall yesterday solo and had silly mistakes end me. I knew a guy was going to come from behind up top but I wasn't even finished killing the guys before the boss drops. Totally wasn't ready. My best bet is getting above that boss from the start. We really should be able to do this with anyone.

Total time: 61 hours (but I have created 3 characters)
Probably spent around 8-10 hours total on farming caves/glimmer/chests.
You get an overshield when you revive them both consecutively but no rewards other than that

Although I did finally get a primary legendary (Vanquisher VIII)...it was no thanks to RNGesus, praise New Monarchy!
I used to just groan when seeing bounties that are not doable that day, but now it really annoys me and I think Bungie is just taking the piss out of people and are too lazy to ensure bounties are even possible. I don't buy the idea that you leave over half your slots full of unused bounties for random non-exotic dailies. Last week it was all about salvage bounties with no mode available and this week it's like hey guys here's queen bounties on the 2nd and 3rd day of the event but you need to be rep 2 to get the class item. Am I missing something here?

I need them too, but I'm at the point where 29 is approaching and I don't want to waste anymore shards on armor that won't get me to 30.
Yes, especially if they spawn those fucking wizards and knights, making things harder than they should be.
You can actually stun the Phogoth if you do enough damage to the stomach quick enough, makes things go much much quicker overall.

the class armor. hunter cloaks, warlock bonds and titan marks.
They're rewarding people who plan and get the bounty and save it for the day when they can complete it. Maximum efficiency!
Except for Salvage, that's bizarre / troll, especially as it's listed in their Events thing.

That's true, but if you want an exotic, you can buy one from Xur. Everything you want in this game you can just buy. I don't get the RNG complaints because Diablo is far worse. I played 200+ hours of Diablo and you have 0 control over advancement. Everything comes from drops. If you need a legendary helmet, tough luck. Just play and hope one drops. One of these essential items for end-game builds is a Stone of Jordan ring. I got one after 185 hours. My friends had 3 by then. In Destiny you can just buy what you need. You can buy from like 5 different vendors. You can buy an exotics from Xur. The legendary engram drops suck. I get it. I had 2 last night that were blue myself. If that was the only way to get loot I'd be pissed as hell. But it's not. It's just crazy-making to see a whole page of thread title jokes boiling this entire game down to bad RNG.
Ya but now if you have an exotic weapon bounty and 2 of these queen ones the bounty system is becoming annoying for no reason cause you can only really pursue 2-3 at a time. What if they add another tomorrow?
I guess it's just to reward people who can spend more time with the game. I can't spend more than the 3 hours or so a night and plan on spending a lot of the weekend doing the queen missions for my tickets.

After a few more days with Destiny, I think it's a better game than I initially gave it credit for, but it's just not for me. Now that I'm level 20, really the only thing I could move forward to is high-level Strikes and Raids, but I just don't have the time or patience to organize fireteams for these events, so there's no incentive for me to farm more.

I was being jokey, but yes, I agree with you. Capping us at 5 bounties is a pain when they offer as many as they are right now, but 5 is manageable. Taking away slots for exotic bounties is maddening, though.
S'why I was relieved to get Invective done. I now have 4 of my 5 lots useable. Running with 3 was painful.

The factions have weapons that are unlisted? That's actually very interesting and awesome if true. Gives people a reason to keep going past rank 3.
You already do Nightfall/Raid this week man? I just hit 27 last night.
lol sorry I had the inkling you were being jokey. I currently have the Thorn bounty on a hunter LOL. I am unsure if that one will ever get done due to having no class skills that deal void and being only average at pvp. I hear the raid gives a void primary though so I have some hope.
I have Hard Light, the exotic auto rifle. The recoil and range are terrible. Wish I still had my blue auto rifle
I dismantled it as soon as I saw exotic auto rifle. Thought it'd be better;(Yep, penalizing people who want to earn stuff though other modes along the way.
I've been thinking the same lately. I had to throw one away because I just couldn't fit it.

I prefer the Galahad-E. That slow down of fire rate while ADS is clutch in crucible.
