Patrol can get you up pretty quick if you focus on the assassination missions, as they dole out 25 XP for Vanguard, rather than the usual 10. That's also as many as completing a strike on Vanguard Tiger gives you, which is a bit fucked up.

That's fair. Keep in mind that the cool way to counter a Bladedancer is activating YOUR Arc Blades in kind and have an anime swordfight in the middle of the map.

So I did two queens bounties last night and got the same drop. Are the drops from it only set to a few things or should it be random?
Both true and untrue. I certainly wouldn't dismantle a superior, but not upgraded piece of equipment. I would hold onto it until it's capable of replacing the inferior piece I'm using. Swap it out when turning in bounties for XP.
That said, I'm just not wasting shards on non-raid gear.
Dunno, I'm just used to these things actually being accounted for. Getting the best legendary ring, but with the worst possible roll, isn't always better than a generally worse ring with a perfect roll. If my current helm doesn't have the stat spread I want, I'll replace it in a heartbeat if the one I just got does. That large chunk of bonus super or grenade charge instead of melee(or vice versa, whatever you're after) is also important.
And a lot of people seem to only be looking at the level, I've explained the difference between faction armor to many people that straight up didn't even think about Int/Discipline/Strength which can double your super or whatever charge rate.
i save up my fist of storm just to bash those pesky blade hunters' skulls. That feels satisfying!

Damn, new thread already.
It's random, but as far as anyone can tell, it's a really small pool of drops to draw from, especially with the rarity of getting one of the weapons on top of the two pieces of armor you guaranteed to get one of.
Don't have it but I really want a primary with radar active while ADS perk.
the mag size of 12 alone makes it one of the best HC out there, I hope your random perks are good though.

It's on my Legendary Cryptic Dragon Scout Rifle, decoded from an engram. The Cryptic Dragon sold by the vendor doesn't have it unfortunately.

I am so far behind the rest of you. I just hit 23 and decided to start cave farming... I feel like a volunteer at a rehab clinic and I am now becoming a junkie.
I've seen a lot of people that are happy with The Devil You Know, but don't have one myself. Also can vary with the abilities it rolled with. It has access to some nice modifiers like Crowd Control, but whether it rolls with it when dropped is random. Its base stats seem decent enough.
We would know if legendary's actually dropped for us.

Bad thread title. I had like 30 legendaries drop or come from blues without doing the cave.
Just came here to say how much fun im having with this game, is just pure fun, while some people have criticize the story, I think the lore has great potential, but for me that comes in a distance second, the gameplay and Background music are soo good it makes me want to keep coming back for more.

I'm a lvl 28 Hunter myself. I like the ability to go invisible while crouched. The Arc Blade is cool ,though a lot of people seem to be anticipating it now. The Hunter is definitely the most stylish of the three.
In terms of Strikes it has it's uses. I use the special to go completely invisible in order to rescue teammates, or get out of near death situations. It's a shame it doesn't have a damage bonus for firing while invisible.

God that sucks, I had a similar issue and had to re-download the game. I used Diablo 3 to go through the withdrawl while the game downloaded and the session with Diablo 3 turned into resentment towards Destiny because I kept getting good loot.
Damn you RNGesus, You died for my higher loot drops but for the wrong damn game.

Sunsingers can make way more grenades pop out if their discipline is high I think. That or I'm very good at covering entire rooms with solar grenades.
