I would love to play some of these strikes, but every time I play one of them I either get nothing for loot or something worse than what I have. It sucks.

Got my first exotic weapon and it was the Monte Carlo. I want The Last Word.

Today, I played Destiny for about an hour and turned it off. Upgraded my Sunbreakers after farming for some Relic Iron.

I'm not too mad about the loot cave, what I'm mad about is the QW nerf. Honestly, why would I run those now?
Let's say I have two versions of the same weapon, if I'm only planning on using it in the crucible my sole determining factor for which to keep are the upgrades, right? I have a level 19 shotgun with an upgrade I prefer over the level 20, the attack stat goes out the window anyway, isn't that how it's suppose to work?
Best part is, the last kill of the game was actually a guy on the other team killing himself. I just got the points for it.

Oh, I can.
It was a tough week. Nightfall gave me a bad Fusion Rifle when I already had Plan C. That beauty I got through my great conquest of the Blind Trial against Rahool The Sorcerer-I beat his damned trials and managed to get away with a forsaken Hunter Exotic, and Plan C.
I've been to Mars, fought back against the Emperor and his damned cows. I've been to Venus, been tinged by the damn metals the Vex threw at me. The Moon was nothing, just overgrown cockroaches coming out from holes. Damned Hive.
I went back to Earth. To Mother Earth. My place where I began, and where one day I would eventually die. I was going through the same areas, seeing the same bastards invading what was left of Russia. The Fallen were trying to capture a point, Jovian Complex if you will, from the Hive. Their giant spire of damnation where cockroaches come from. I sat there....and saw a cave.
Now, this was no ordinary cave. No, they spewed out of there like a rancid spider sac that contained a hundred spiderlings. One after another, me and other guardians tried to hold back the tide. Fallen came in, shooting at that same area. Compatriots if you would have it, except when one or two decided to turn their guns on us. They were swiftly freed from their cranium.
We fired endlessly at that cave. Seconds turned into minutes, minutes into hours, hours into days...we were convinced there must have been Hive Royalty in there. That or a couple of Hive making some quick love. We were rewarded as well-Some of the Hive had swallowed up decent weapons, and when we shot them, they came flying out. A prize for our neverending work. Not all the weapons were great. I myself found, what Rahool would call it, 'The Giant'. A potent rocket launcher of ancient design. Packs a punch against the Hive that would rival even the ancient cockroach killer, 'Raid'.
That is my weapons story, guardian. And now the gods have seen it fit to strike that cave with thunder, thus rendering any Hive that may have continued to live their dead. Now you just get the remnants.

it's all reward and no risk. should be -50 instead of +50. you can already bring your teammates up and you get shields. you shouldn't get extra points on top of it.
Not exactly sure why you brought up the cave. Don't really care about that patch as I barely used it. It's when you patch the only reliable way to actually level up your gear just because they don't like that so many people are reaching endgame this fast. The only other way to get shards is to rely on their fucked up rng loot system and that's not something I have any interest in doing. They already made it so we can't even get to 30 without getting a full set of maxed out raid gear plus one exotic and now they nerf the only way to reliably get the material to actually do that. It's idiotic. If they wanted this game to last then maybe they should of released much more content with the game then the shit we got. All they're doing now is pissing the people off who've actually invested their time into their game.

Bungie isn't exactly good at making good or balanced MP anymore so I am not surprised something like this is possible.
