With all these Motes of Light should i just gamble it on the Exotic helmet engram? I don't want nothing from the Speaker.

It's 90% weird vendors up until about 26-27 and 90% luck afterwards.

Bungie.net says I have now played Destiny for 1 day, 20 hours, 27 and 4 seconds. In that time I was able to get enough motes of life to buy ONE item and that item was for a class I don't even fucking play.

Destiny is becoming extremely frustrating. I'm getting to the point where I don't even want to play the game anymore.

My jimmies couldn't be any more rustled than they are right now.

Actually, though, the best way for you to gear up right now will be to do Queen's Wrath missions. You can get at least either a legendary helm or chest very easily. Let me know if you need more information on how to do this.

I had some stupid faction class item equipped for ages without realizing what it does. Now I'm not rank 1 in anything. :(

It's easy. it's not kills it's points. Killing a someone gives you 25, killing a warlock gives you like 50.

I did it over two days in like 12-15 rumble matches.

Or you get some warlock buddies, jump into rumble and kill them for a bit.



So i'm gonna grab the hunter helmet from Xur when I get home. I got a legendary helmet from the queen already so that didn't cost me anything. Then I'll use my 65 marks I got to buy gauntlets from the vanguard and bam I got three legendaries and an exotic.

Seriously, progression in this game just comes naturally by just doing bounties/daily missions and in general playing the game.

What? You can get that in like 10 games or less if you're good. I just have a problem with having to do pvp and pve. I'd rather just stick with PVE tbh.

Have to kill Xyor at the level 26 summoning pits strike. After trying to solo, I think I'm gonna need a couple of gaffers to help with this one.

How on earth do all you guys have 23+ strange coins every week? The weekly strikes only give 9 so that's 14 from random drops. I'm struggling to get up to 13 per week for the armor.

I NEED that Suros Regime in my life. Damn it looks like I'm gonna miss out though.

My point exactly.

The one thing I am doing now is level up both my secondary and third character.

I hope that by the time I reach Level 20 with those classes a patch would have came out already that fixes the majority of these broken grind aspects.

Crucible and just random drops from Blue/Legendary Engrams.
 
Welp. Rolled the dice. Got a Titan helm and I'm Warlock. Think that's it for me. At least for a little bit. Tired of all the artificial measures to lengthen he game. That's bullshit, man. Spent two weeks saving up.

well like you said, 9 guaranteed coins per week and then you get tons of them from blue engrams which drop all the time and you get tons of them from chests on patrols.

I like to go on chest runs while doing the daily patrol bounties/daily public event so getting chests is no problem there.
 
I would need 9 Motes before Xur leaves, I dunno if I will wind up getting a helm engram this week. I got lucky last time though, not sure that will happen twice in a row.

Anyone bought a Sparrow engine yet? I'm curious how it works and how much it improves Sparrow functionality.
 
Warlock Helm is meh...

It restores you to full health on Super use, but that's just not usable for Sunsingers as the self-revive perk is the best perk and gets you to full health anyway. Also no melee attack speed or grenade throw distance either, and having Orbs heal you is also very situational.

I think I might either save my coins for next time or get some more for the Suros.
 
Wow, just from the one game of trying out the Suros Regime, and it is fantastic. Kinda sad that I have to bench my new Legendary Hand Cannon for now...

the only way to get mats is beacon missions or loop around the map in a circle. it's not difficult, but dull and needlessly time consuming, even when mixed with other activities.

I get most of them from Blue/Purple Engrams and PvP

Obviously luck based
 
I FEEL LIKE THE LUCKIEST MAN IN THE WORLD!!

Rolled the dice on the exotic engram first and got the Apotheosis Veil Helm for my Warlock on it (Based, Rahool). Thus freeing up my coins to nab the Suros Regime which I needed badly because I've definitely been underpowered.

Today is a good day!

They're rare drops from any individual thing, but they drop from many sources. Just play like crazy and you will accrue them :> This week I got a bonus 9 from the nightfall. I also saw someone else say "fucking bungie" in response to that reward for the nightfall -_-
