Quickest way to get ten strange coins?

Solo the lvl 28 weekly heroic strike for 9 with an extremely easy method. Spot starts at 4:30

Did this and finished it in around 30 minutes or so. The hardest part is probably getting there, but if you're pretty conservative then you shouldn't have much of a problem. I played conservative and was able to get there without dying at all.

Why am I not getting my daily first event reward? This morning nothing, so I figured it was because the timer hasn't reset, but this afternoon after the reset I've done 8 events or something and still nothing. I demand my strange coins, two more to go.

Have you been logged in since before 5am EST? Daily rewards wont register for events/dailies until you relog.

Can we please just get a HUGE banner in the OT that says something like THIS IS WHERE ZUR IS THIS WEEK, with it updated each Friday, and a warning in the thread that "where is Zur" posts are bad, mmmkay?

That spam pushes good posts like Hawkian's right down into the basement faster than anything.

It took me all of 30 seconds to find out where Zur is, without even asking. Sheesh.

If you die then you just restart at your last checkpoint. If you're asking if you can getting strange coins after you complete it then no. You can only get strange coins from that strike once per week. If you do it at level 22 you get 3, lvl 26 you get 6, lvl 28 you get 9. So if you jump all the way to the 28 one it just gives you all 9 for completing the highest lvl difficulty.

Picked up the Hunter helm from Xur. Radar while ADS is too good to pass up for me. I've found myself wishing for that multiple times and never know it was an actual perk in the game.

Yup, but as there is no ingame access to patch notes, people don't always know.

Unless you use Bungie.net, twitter and such the game explains almost nothing to you, patch changes is yet another example of this.

That would be the perfect scenario, but seeing as how the engram isn't always guaranteed to be for your class it's risky, especially since you don't have an exotic piece of armor yet which you have to have in order to reach lvl 30.

That's for Ascendant materials, best way is to do the weekly strike at the highest level for 9 SCs (only 9 can be earned per week in this mode), or by playing Crucible and hope you get rewarded or from blue/purple engrams.

Yeah, it really isn't clear. when I got that I was all "WTF!?" Then I killed a guy and checked it and noticed it went up like 100 or something. It's very easy and it won't go down either (as in you dying doesn't decrease the amount of points you have unlike some of the exotic bounties).
