I know you get rep from turning in the queens wrath bounties, but I'm not sure about the missions. I could care less about leveling up her rep anyway as there's nothing good to even get from her IMO.
 
As I played Destiny today, my PS4 started to repeatedly make three beeps then tried to eject a disc (even though there was no disc in the console). This happened every 5 seconds until I turned the console off.

What the fuck was happening?

Completed the exotic bounty for Invective. Not sure how much I'll actually use it since I like Suros Regime too much, but it looks really cool. That makes three exotics today (Suros and Knucklehead from Xur, thanks buddy).
 
After the closing of the loot cave and the insipid decision to essentially make the Queen's Wrath event worthless to anyone above 26, I was just about to call it for Destiny, until this morning when I saw that Xur had the Suros Regime. I already had the Knucklehead maxed out, but that's the rifle I've been after since the beta. I guess I'll put up the Alpha Lupi chest, finally be able to use all the ascendant energy I've been saving up, and grind out a set of auto rifle armor. Then do it again once The Last Word or Hawkmoon drops... Damn you Bungie.

How the fuck was I supposed to know it was points? The bounty says Kill Guardians - 0 out of 10,000. And it's my fault for getting it wrong?

The disc eject issue is a common one. Your console was just trying to do that with no disc inside.

Different people have different explanations and solutions. I just called Sony and had then replace it. I'd give them a ring ASAP so you can get back to your game right away.

Patch notes:
Fixed issue where players were adequately rewarded for their efforts.
 
Can anyone help me complete the nightfall weekly strike and some Queen missions today at about 2:00 P.M Est. I am only level 25 and I didn't grind when I had my chance so it is hard to level up my equipment and I need help.

My PSN is the same as my neogaf name.
 
Methinks theres increasing mileage in Dax01, Hawkian and the rest of us who actually grasp the loot mechanics, bounty mechanics and faction purposes to get together and write some kind of "Destiny: The Missing Manual".

99.2% of the posts in these threads are same sodding questions.

Where is X?
How do I get X?
What does this mean?
What loot comes from where?
What do factions do?
etc etc

I think my strategy for Xur is gonna be to gamble motes on the engram.

If I get a hunter helm, that's perfect. Spend coins on the suros.

If I get another classes, well I guess now I have a decision to make lol probably buy the helm

I think ill save my 27 coins till he sells a handcanon. My luck is too bad in this game so not sure I can get 10 more strange coins randomly. I know if I buy the regime, I will 4 plus 9 weekly. But thats only 13, *waits for that the last word*

Just pretty much got to the boss on Nightfall Weekly Strike soloing it but right before got one shotted by a Minotaur, really need the Ice Breaker to make the whole thing easier.

Damm straight. Dont fall in to the must have this and that. Only get what you want so you dont have to struggle when a item you want is there.
 
So is there any real incentive to doing the Queen's missions now that you can't dismantle the gear for shards? I have the Sniper Rifle so it'd just be a case of doing them for a chance to get the ship at this point.

Overall, I think the Queen event has pretty much been a bust with the same bounties over and over. I've done the 200 head shots on fallen enemies three times now. If these events are Bungie's idea of end game content outside of the raid then I dunno, you guys. I love the game but I'm definitely starting to feel the fatigue set in.
 
Suros Regime? Is this the Queen's apology? I'll take it! I might need to grind out some coins/motes tonight. Also, I'd like to try the raid tonight (X1-WhoDey Beerman) from the beginning if anyone's putting something together.
 
Dat Suros Regime. Thank you, Xur. Contemplating getting the hunter helm since I already bought the lucky raspberry. I'd be losing on overall defense, but gain some interesting perks.

Have been trying to grind the queen quest to get that sniper rifle and ship. No luck. :/ Got the two armor pieces but the ship and sniper allude me.
Also need to kill The unwed to get my exotic. Can't wait to get off work.
 
If you buy an exotic engram from Xur, is there a possibility it will become an exotic weapon, or will they always decrypt into a random armor piece?
 
Bah, that hunter helm looks terribad. Might as well save the coins and get me an engram.

Patched what? There's nothing stopping you from doing the weekly heroic and nightfall on each of your three characters, assuming you get them all to level 24 or 25, whichever it is, in order to have access to the level 28 heroic and the nightfall. I can't remember the level requirement but I believe it's 24 or 25.

So yeah, just do both on each character. That's 27 strange coins a week guaranteed, and 3 chances at random but good rewards from the nightfall. Cake.
 
I have 23 Strange Coins. I just bought a Shadow Price a few days because I was at 199 Vanguard Marks and had to buy something. Still, I think the Suros would be overall better, and the Shadow Price still worth it to keep and upgrade if I want to take an exotic weapon in a Special or Heavy slot.

The Titan chest seems amazing for Raids/Strikes whereas my current Titan Exotic armor pieces don't offer anything for Raids. Plus, it looks amazing. I have a day to think on this, unless I can find a way to get 13 coins in 24 hours, haha.
 
Wow Xur is really selling the Suros Regime? There goes the PvP neighborhood... and I've been so busy doing PvP I don't have the coins for it lmao

The exotic engrams he sells will be for a particular slot, just like other engrams. This week it is a helm slot. It doesn't seem like it is weighted by class so you will get a random exotic helm from the entire exotic helm pool.
 
Is it just me or does Xur hate Warlocks?

Sunbreakers two weeks in a row and then the ugliest helm in the entire game.... c'mon Xur, buddy!?

Titans and Hunters have been getting some awesome stuff. Looks like i'll skip the worm faced bastard yet again another week.
