Flawless lmao.
People are gonna keep finding new ways to farm/lootcaves as long as Bungie doesn't fix the lootsystem. There is something inherently wrong with how your game works if people prefer standing in one spot mindlessly shooting a cave instead of actually doing fun stuff, because that is not rewarding the player. Gamedevelopment 101 Bungie, appropiately reward the players for the actions they are doing.

Makes zero sense. If you only have an hour or two to play good luck trying to get a group together (unless you actually have a bunch of real friends with the game). There should be bonuses for soloing this stuff to compensate.

What are people's Bladedancer builds?
Blink/Arcbolt/Armor Focus seems self explanatory, but are people benefiting more from ShadowJack vs. Quick Draw, Fast Twitch vs. Escape Artist and Encore vs. Hungering Blade?

If another loot cave is found, I might see what I get from it, but I'm not stressing missing out on the Suros.
Got it from getting to level 3 Vanguard rep. I dismantled it without using it once. Pulse rifles? Bungie pls.

Well, now that it's known it'll get patched soon.
maybe this was just a quick fix to limit in-game economy damage while they work on a better solution? hopefully they'll do something similar to this, otherwise, the queen will be completely useless to the vast majority of players even before she leave this first go around.

Queen Gear should give you something good for materials at least. I broke down one and all I got was Glimmer and Platesteel.

GAF pls help let's say I create a new character and even though he isn't leveled up for night fall but I have a couple people carry me through it would I be locked out to even start it
today started off pretty well. woke up early to grab suros from xur and got alpha lupi and a helm engram just for fun. helm engram was a second helm of inmost light with more strength, so i have to level it now and while doing bounties to level suros and the helmet i got an engram that turned into hawkmoon. not too shabby for 2 hours in the morning.
Will see later.
I have always been the Oracles guy cause I can one shot them usually.

I got tired of shitty raid strategies. I read up on how to do this from several sources, but never saw anyone detail why it's such a good idea to use the middle platform.

I actually just got this helm from the exotic engram. I'm a warlock, and was about to dismantle it, but said 'nah' and put it in my vault.
It's probably time I made a hunter.
Glad you got it.. b/c I'm definitely considering passing on it for now. I really want that Ice Breaker and I KNOW Xur will have it next week and I won't have any coins left.

If Bungie wants us to do harder stuff and play "for real," there needs to be some more universal benefit for higher level content, not just the rewards for the playlist or daily bonus. Trying to selectively nerf methods of farming low level enemies is a losing battle.
Start by addressing the goofy inconsistency in Vanguard marks and faction: Doing a 15 minute strike in a playlist gives me as much faction as a 2-minute patrol mission, and as many marks as a 5-minute public event.

That's what I use for Oracles. The thing is, I have been made Shield Guy and I have slow grenade

They better not have! I was going to do that mission on my Hunter to get the two legendary armor pieces.
It truly is. If anything, we should get patches making loot more prevalent and easier to get while the whole loot system is re-evaluated.
I agree but of course I bought it. It's totally not rare or special now though.
So is Suros a good gun? I was hoping for a Scout Rifle but I did want a new primary weapon. So???

it's just like the Queens reward items. how do they not come to the conclusion that people are going to farm those for shards?

You can find a back up secondary legendary. You can't easily grab this gun again, think carefully
Bear in mind folks, you may only be able to equip one Exotic at a time, that doesn't mean you should only own one. I have three with Suros soon to make it four, and I constantly swap them out based on how the situation demands.
Okay you just sold me to get the suros
I've done a bunch of both and nope never came close for me. The only stroke I get better loot in is nightfall.

If this new loot cave is anything like the previous one, you'd get far more loot within 45 minutes than you did playing strikes for the same amount of time.
