I just realized I didn't play a Crucible match last night. I helped two people with the nightfall, bought a couple badass exotics, cashed in a handful of bounties including pin the grenade on the devil walkers, harvested a smorgasboard of helium and WOKE THE HIVE to blast my way to Super Good Advice. But no Crucible.

Biggest difference that I've heard of is that there are no revives. If you die, you're out until that phase is completed.

The raid is all about coordination, teamwork and execution. It can be done with all level 24s if the team knows what they are doing and has the strategy down. So a 24 can contribute just fine. It's just that if you're level 24 there's a good chance you don't know what the mechanics are yet, etc. But if you look up guides you can handle yourself.

We made it to the final boss with 2 people with a level 24 and 25. We didn't have our strategy down yet though and had to call it quits that night but with our current strategy in place I'm sure we could have done it.

Hard mode is the same way. Plenty of groups have beaten it with multiple 28s (the same handicap as a 24 would be on normal mode) because they had a sound strategy and executed it.

Yeah I did my one and only raid at Level 24 with four(yes four) 26-28s. Collectively we got castrated but I was able to hold my own relative to everyone else. Doubt I would have if not for the GCIII

Speaking of auto rifles, has anyone tried the Hex Caster ARC yet? It can be purchased from the crucible rank 3 vendor. It looks amazing, fastest possible rate of fire with one of the upgrade options making stability higher.

I had one. It's like an smg. Fast fire rate and large magazine but you can't hit shit if it's not at close range. I already had the grim citizen III so i dismantled it. I didn't upgrade it all.

I had the same results. I was swimming in rare armor for every other part but my legs were green for the longest time. Finally once I reached rank 2 for crucible rep, legs were the first legendary I bought.

Need some advice on what to buy from Xur. I have enough coins to buy two exotic items and enough motes to buy 1 engram. My character is a Warlock, should I buy the helmet with my coins and save the motes for next week, or try my hand at the random and pray that I get a helmet for my class. If I get something for another class its not a huge deal as I'm planning on having all 3 eventually.

Also is the exotic weapon worth buying this week? I already have an exotic sniper rifle, not sure I want to give it up for the assault rifle...

Just create a fireteam of only Suros Regimes users and you're going to win 90%+ of your games, unless your friends have the shittiest aims. PvP is going to turn out worse than COD and Battlefield

Just acquired it. Pretty much PVE only, but I'll come back once I've upgraded it all the way. Way too slow of a charge to be viable in close-range encounters in pvp. It has a much tighter spread and longer range than a normal fusion, which makes it a defacto railgun, but it has a mean kick to it right now. With the stability mod it might be ok, but you're still going to lose out to other better guns at medium range with that charge time. I think I almost only killed people I got the drop on with it. Oh, and only 3 shots a magazine.
