What is the best way for a level 26 hunter to unlock Exotic bounties? I've done almost every bounty available multiple times, aside from crucible ones.

I've gotten my two exoctic bounties after completing all the Vanguard bounties for a day.

Just acquired it. Pretty much PVE only, but I'll come back once I've upgraded it all the way. Way too slow of a charge to be viable in close-range encounters in pvp. It has a much tighter spread and longer range than a normal fusion, which makes it a defacto railgun, but it has a mean kick to it right now. With the stability mod it might be ok, but you're still going to lose out to other better guns at medium range with that charge time. I think I almost only killed people I got the drop on with it. Oh, and only 3 shots a magazine.

Like many fusion rifles that aren't blessed with a quick charge, you'll have to compensate by keeping the Infinity "cooked" when in acceptable range, so that the full charge isn't what you're working from before a blast. However, the full auto aspect changes things considerably. I honestly have no idea how it will play out. I have this funny idea of charging as I round a corner and then just looking away from the screen while it blasts in all directions and then peeking out from between my fingers to see if anyone got killed

If you're legit aiming-wise, you don't need to ADS and it'll be a tactical decision. Hip fire in this game is frankly fucking fantastic, I hope everyone is using it. While ADS you can't rotate the camera as fast or turn your character as fast, and while precision kills are much tougher with hip fire, they aren't necessary considering the TTK of an AR in the Crucible.

Holding L2 while aiming an auto rifle is basically like using a tracking computer in this game anyway. can't wait for dat nerf

Yes. You gain 1 light for every upgrade on a blue and 2 for every upgrade on legendary gear.

Honestly Shingen-E is still the go-to, even with the new wave of Suros adopters. Nothing better than it is required at least before the range nerf.

I've never felt so dirty as testing out that weapon to see what my Regulator and I were up against. It's a Point and Press Win gun. I assume Suros is more of the same but at least I know the person doesn't have another exotic weapon equipped.

Isn't pretty much every gun a point and win weapon? Y'know, if you're actually aiming it? Cos you still have to aim the Suros to kill stuff with it. Also, Suros is a beast of a gun, but is it any more ridiculous than the Pocket Infinity?


I'll be pissed if they break ARs with this patch. Increasing damage dropoff with range would be smart. Really, if you're trying to snipe with an AR you do need a good slap and they shouldn't be capable of it, but then it'd just as stupid to turn them into SMGs.

Loot streams are individualized. You only see what you can pick up, and you don't see the loot others are grabbing.
