Hmm, this further makes me think its only going to do 2 different legendary drops per day. The other players i had in my fireteam also alternated between two types. I'm guessing todays drops will result in different armor.

I'm level 27 and still use Shingen-E occasionally in PVP. Always get at least a 1.5 K/d with it. It's certainly still viable when you're high level.

As far as Pocket Infinity, I don't know how it'll feel in PvP yet. I assume though it will be devastating it actually will require some skill to use properly

I'm a hand cannon user also, both PVP and PVE. Also wielding the Regulator for long range in PVP and and upgraded Comedian Shotty for Close quarter. The pair works for me well. Will have enough vanguard marks for the Devil you know next week which should be fun plus a 12 bullet mag. Should do me until I'm hopefully on day blessed by RNGesus for the Hawkmoon

Destiny didn't use the PSN and Live patches for all... the last patch was used the download feature of Destiny.

I know they can change all the game balance / rates using only the ingame patch system.

PSN/Live patch: 1.0.0.3

The last two patches were ingame only.

It'll depend on the rolls you get on each, e.g., did you get the ability to upgrade stability on the Nope? I have a Nope and find it's very good for PvE, despite the low impact.

This is the only weapon I want haha. That video of the guy going 18-0 the other day sold me, plus the unique animations for it are awesome.

I found this out during the final boss fight of the raid. Someone told me this when I said I'd defend the portals.

Yeah, it fires all 8 shots pretty damn fast. So fast that the main problem with the gun is lack of ammo.

Eh I only use it on occasion, as I said. I like to switch around with primaries. Kind of dismissive to say that everyone who uses it has bad aim. Bungie put it in the game, it does work in PVP, so it's worth using. Doesn't make you a bad player because you use it.

Bungie needs to balance pvp and pve weapons seperately. Pve should be about the effectiveness against the monster. You're a team after all, you're not fighting against each other.

I've rocked the scout rifle a few times and certainly not done badly with it. I feel a small amount of gitgud.jpg coming on.... As for handcannon, I personally wouldn't limit myself to such a small magazine size in a PvP environment...



Re pocket infinity, I dunno, current FR users' problem amounts to missing their first shot. This'll let them spray without the pray and get the kill nearly every time. A ridiculous weapon class gets more ridiculous. The whole thing's a mess. I expect quite a few AR users just chunk out bullets like there's no tomorrow, but then there's a chunk of us that headshot only and aim to minimise ammo usage. I just really don't want my favourite gun in the game to become useless in PvE. Balancing PvE weapons differently to PvP would be nice.

Dunno if this has been answered yet (thread is big and moves fast) is the "health Regenerates when you activate your super" perk of the Apotheosis Veil actually health regen like when you wait a bit with no damage but damage will then stop it or is it like, full HP on super activation? Or is it neither but a heal over time unaffected by damage taken?

They "fixed" that issue. You now get fuck all when dismantling Queen gear because hey, you're not supposed to be doing this event if you don't need the gear! Another great innovation in MMO like gear progression by Bungie.
