Some pretty big spoilers in that trailer. Damn. I have no idea what this season is about though. Also, the new airbenders outfits look terrible.

Toph back! Lol some people already lost some bets,

I can't tell who the bad guy is. You see Bolin and even Korra wearing what looks like earth Nation/or metal Bending City military uniforms. Uh wat.

Welp, I lost one bet right off the bat.

We're going back to the swamp? Toph is being found in the swamp again? The AtLA callbacks, man...

Based Hola. Too bad I'm on the bus right now.

Use the Hola Better Internet plugin if you can't see it. Watching from the UK, works fine for me.
Worked like a charm.

The actions looks amazing, but I mostly see earth soldiers. Is the earth nation attacking the everyone now? I saw Zukos daughter and Opals only scene looked innocent. But i'm onto you. Would be strange if the trailer showed every twist. Ya ain't gonna fool me, gal.

Would have preferred if they left out the stinger. Interested to see how the timeline is supposed to work here as it seems like it jumps around a bit (of course this could be just pre/post Korra hairstyle change too).

Trailer did a good job of not telling me everything that the season is about. Not many spoilers at all other than the big tease at the end :p

Great trailer

Ooh Toph, just so much stuff in the trailer to comprehend
All the new earthbending outfits look pretty snazzy

Yeah, that's a good point. But it also kind of has me on edge. A lot of shit going down, and I have no idea what the fuck it's about. I mean, I'm still confused by who the bad guy is. I mean..the obvious is Kuvira.
But why are they wearing the same military uniform as her? Why is Bolin/Mako apart of their military now? WTF.

I like it a lot. I also like Korra's haircut.

Yeah Korra's haircut looks much better in action (vs the promo shot we got).

I'm guessing with Kuvira she taking advantage of the chaos in the Earth Kingdom to start her own kingdom of some sort

Korra and Asami fighting on the train.

Korra and Mako going to some desolate temple guarded by White Lotus.
Zaheer!

Who is that being carried up the side of a volcano?

Varrick Industries introducing the latest in flightsuit technology. Airman 23s: Enter the Void

Theory... Korra has been MIA for three years and on some sort of recuperating journey, but in the meantime, the Metal Clan develops into some sort of dictatorship or something. Kuvira deposes Suyin?

All yall still think Opal is evil?
She looked petty sad to me. :(

Interesting. So everyone bites the hand that feeds them, and bails on Su? That's fucked. After all she built for them with their city. SMH.

We don't have to spoiler tag talk about officially released trailers, yes?

And yes, I think that Kuvira is somehow leading an earth kingdom army on a conquest. Maybe on liberation, a revolution.

I would've been sad too, if I were that evil.

So do we keep using spoiler bars for discussing the trailer or not?

Its nice to see that Toph is back but it would have been maybe better if we actually found out during the episode rather the trailer would have been a nice surprise.

I dunno, I'll let Satch decide on that one. Trailers are tricky, since they technically show things beyond the first episode. They can contain spoilers deep into the season (so before episodes air).

I feel like we should spoiler tag (given what I said above). And yeah, agreed. Lame way to
reveal Toph. Would have been more amazeballs to have it drop at the end of an episode with no one expecting it.

Speculation.

Korra feels like shit in the beginning and decides to leave the world to the hands of Jinora and the airbenders. Kuvira of the metal clan takes control of the Earth kingdom. Suyin begrudgingly agrees. Opal is the airbender ambassador of the new metal clan-Earth nation. Kuvira has imperial designs, unilaterally decides to be agressive. Suyin disagrees. Opal is caught in the middle and is unsure. Kale Hydra storyline comes to bear. Korra finds herself in the swamp (she fights berserker Korra and symbolically gets over her aggression) after a chat with Toph who snitches on Suyin. Korra comes back to save the world with information only she knows. Shit goes down.

MOTJER OF GOD.... 3 YEARS!?!?
RISE OF THE METAL KINGDOM
TOPH
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS[

I hope there is some serious consideration into the issues of borders, nations and deterrence.

I still don't see how Kuvira is going to top the Red Lotus gang. Everything else looks damn good tho.
So Metal Kingdom is going to be like the new Fire Nation back in TLA? The next 100 year war incoming?
Korra properly saw a statue of Toph or something....Don't get too excited guys.

Yeah that is my worry.

Is the final conflict...
really just a military take over? Lol I mean, I guess?

Just cause she says toph doesn't mean she's like...back. Could be her corpse or something, would be the ultimate troll
