Can you actually get anything else besides a sniper, helm and chest from the Queens Mark missions? I've done it like 7 times and gotten 4 chests and 3 helms so far.... One of my friends managed to get two of the same snipers, but besides that helm and chests, and same for the other guy I was playing with...

So Cryptarch gives me a green from a blue, then a blue from a purple, then he gives me Gjallarhorn from a purple. He must be smoking some serious shit.

I got 3 exotic weapons today though, so can't really complain.

void fusion rifle and go to the free-for-all gametype. Run around with the fusion rifle. I got my 500 void points in 6-7 matches. Just don't run around aimlessly and always surprise the enemies. It's easier as a voidwalker admittedly.

If only i were good enough in PvP to make this happen.....I was doing well the first few matches and 5 matches later am 2 points further.....I really wish it didn't have the kill penalty.

There is nothing interesting about a very rare item becoming useless garbage. Interesting is having weapons with large stat variations, different perks, and other elemental affinities that will encourage you to rethink how you are currently geared. They do a little bit of that now but I'd love to see a lot more of it so that even if two people have the exact same weapon, it could be completely different.

Increased engram droprates, especially from high-level enemies and bosses, as well as increased chances of purple engrams producing purple/exotic items would be a better fix imo. Removing the risk of disappointment also removes the moment where you hold your breath as you press "decrypt". It removes the cryptarch as a nemesis and I think it will remove a little bit of that excitement when the purple engram finally produces an awesome item.

Same here. I got chatterwhite and atheon's epilogue. Also got Praedyth's Revenge (sniper) and gauntlets. Not bad for one night.

No, that upgrade is required. You'll be gimping the yourself if you don't fully upgrade it, anyway. It's great for PVE as well.

That's the thing. People dogging the RoF are too accustomed to the AR's RoF and inconsistent precision making up for their own errors in aiming. The slowed RoF almost ensures you don't hit off mark by reducing recoil. This just helps across any ranged shootout - the added damage is just icing on the cake.
