I don't even feel bad for you guys. As a below average PvP player that doesn't have as much time to play as others, it doesn't help that the deck is stacked against me even further from doing well because other folks completely outclass me in gear since I have yet to grind for it. PvP is hopelessly imbalanced and the random rewards for the scrubs is the only thing that keeps it remotely fair to helping less skilled players advance.

It now falls back to 480p and looks like shit. Leave 720p enabled and play as before.

I was having issues adding people this morning via the XMB but was able to do it no problem via the PS App.
That's a cool gun for sure and I'll need a legendary for when I'm rocking Pock Inf or Gja-Horn. keeping it in mind

The game doesn't run at 1080 on PS3, so by disabling 720p you're forcing it to display at an SD resolution - that's why it's being stretched. Reenable 720p.
Same time last week I was slowly starting to get worn out by the progression. At 24 I tried doing some level 26 stuff with a similarly leveled team a few times and failed miserably, didn't enjoy it at all, making no progress on the last stage of an exotic bounty (Xyor the Unwed just murdered us) and all topped up by the same pair of exotic gloves at the merchant for the second time in a row, didn't want them any more than I did a week before.
Since then I've vowed not to do stuff above my level and that along with Queen's Wrath has improved my experience dramatically. Pretty much every single day this week I've turned my PS4 off feeling like I've had a great day in Destiny, having done stuff I actually enjoy and having earned some new cool loot, .
Now with the upcoming changes to engrams and PvE activity rewards the immediate future's looking great too.
Also, SUROS Regime (and a promise to buff the Thorn too~!)

Hmm yeah if the game doesn't support the soft upscaling that some PS3 games actually do then ticking off 720p will result in the PS3 falling back to the next lower resolution that's ticked in the settings. So in this case 480p. The game looks like shit on PS3 anyway so leave 720p ticked in the settings and let the TV upscale it.
its matter of preference - do you want to throw a bunch of small rocks at the same spot pretty fast over a period of time or do you want to lob boulders? that's really what it boils down to.
given all the gimmicks and randomness of destiny though, you really can't 'rely' on that time allowed

I kind of regret buying the Suros Regime. I'm afraid that Xur will end up selling one of those handcannons, and I wont have enough coins.
I LOVE handcannons. So satisfying to use, and freaking deadly not only in PVE, but PVP if you're patient and can land the headshots.
