You totally can as long as you have weapons to remove fire shields, and a arc sniper rifle. Buy yourself a couple ammo packs and keep reloading the mission until you get earth, it only takes your toekn at the end when you get a epic drop. That mission specifically you only have to kill about 8 dudes then a "boss". If you play super safe and just camp the doorway you should be done in 15 minutes.

Go to the divie spot, walker should spawn in like 8-13 mintues. Its a public event

Go to patrol and just run to where the devil walker is normally found in the strike. Take him down in about 2-3 minutes.
Screw the strike, just Patrol your way to it.

Just got the ability that lets you float in mid air when you aim.... OMG deciding between this and Blink. Blink is style and can trick people (including the user) out, but the sunsinger ability that lets you float in mid air has just been so helpful for me in getting kills and seems to be a lot more practical, for me at least.

Would love to have ya, but anything under 26 apparently gets practically 1 shotted, and anything under 27 will have a really hard time.

Just open up Patrol and head back to that same area through Rocketyard. Devil Walker will be there and nobody else to steal the kill.
I knock that complete bounty out in about 15-20 min this way.
Get some ascended shards.
I got an exotic sniper rifle. Rewards are great for Nightfall. Plus, the XP bonus does wonders.

Go to the Devil Walker location (in the Devil's Lair) in patrol mode, take it down solo to make sure you get the killing shot.

That's a lie for both actually. I did it for 25 and it was a Breezy time. Everyone else in my part was at 26/27, and it wasn't that hard(We did it as soon as it opened, so it took us a bit to get down the mechanics).

But will he ever Respawn? The hike there 3 times in a row + loading screens, is annoying
I'm assuming that I need good stats (from gear) for recovering healt faster, not just the skills? I see people getting it all back in 1-2 seconds, I need like 5.

Got an exotic primary scout rifle (MIDA Multi Tool)out of a legendary engram. Not sure if I like it or not, went back to my legendary hand cannon at the end of my last strike.
Also bought the exotic Warlock helm off Xur since I can't get any legendary or exotic gear to drop.

I'm not crazy about mine either really but it is a good farming weapon. I'd at least hold onto it just to make the jumping puzzle bits in the raid (and future ones) easier.
