leveling exotic weapons takes ages. especially non primary weapons. i'm 80% done with suros but after that i have a hawkmoon, invective, pocket infinity, and bad juju all to get to at least their second perk. there's not enough xp in a day. i miss afk farming at a loot cave that i didn't have to use a scout rifle for.

Honestly, just wish there was much more PvE in the game. It really seems to push PvP exceptionally hard. Did you do the one weekly strike, daily story, nightfall? Cool go PvP.

I fucking hate the limit on fireteams. Almost every night I have 5-7 people but we can't fucking all play together.

We end up doing crucible and that's it.

Stupid!! make a party playlist that runs strikes modified for a raid size group AT LEAST.

That way we could practice together for the raid

yeah i actually have 2 titans so i can use the same gear and get xp on it constantly doing the same shit twice. i'll probably make a third and do everything 3 times just to get more xp to catch up with the loot showers this game has turned into.

Having a bounty that tells you to get scout rifle headshots in PVP while the majority of the maps are tight enclosed spaces is not fun.

Which brings me to realization is that not only are the Assault Rifles and Shotguns OP. The fact is that the PVP map design 100% encourages that play style. The more open maps that favor scout rifles and sniper rifles are hated by everyone.

In another strange design decision, the PvE challenges combined take 2 hours tops to complete while the PvP challenges take FOREVER.

Well with no auto balance/switching of teams you are stuck getting farmed for hours.

Shits hilarious to be honest. The game is so extremely pushing PvP when it wasn't even marketed as such. If I wanted to PvP I would play WoW, BF, CoD, etc.

Hurray for salvage

went back to being frabjous since i got chatterwhite

Is the sprint inconsistent for anyone?

I have to start it multiple times before it "sticks" so to speak.

I'm starting to think it's my controller.

Same with me. I didn't have a problem with it before but the past few days I've noticed it being weird.

finally got my first set of exotic weapon bounties. any recommendations as far as bad juju, thorn, and invective go? sounds like they all suck (but thorn and bad juju will get a buff?).

That's what I'm guessing. Shotguns will be getting a nerd soon. I personally prefer hand cannons, so thorn would be my choice.

Teams auto balance unless you are facing a group.

Pretty sure thats not true. Plenty of times we've been down for periods of time only to have new players join. and in the 3v3 i've done full matches of 3v1 (both as and against) and never did the teams get balanced

Woohoo, another exotic bounty choice

Shattered memory fragment
A voice in the wilderness
Toland's legacy

Which is best/easiest?

Pocket Infinity bounty chosen

Cannot stress enough how absurd it is that all 3 Factions are tied behind PvP. WTF Bungie? Not everyone wants to PvP, shit feels just like the Leg Cloak PvP component in WoW.

I'm pretty sure there's a cooldown on being able to sprint, stop, and sprint again which can lead into weird scenarios like that when you try to naturally try to turn your angle and resprint. I used to have the same feeling of "wth is happening" when I was trying to blink around as a warlock, after two jumps it just stops working completely for awhile until some invisible cooldown happens.

Yeah, I have no idea why they made the majority of things cost crucible marks.

I've had it happen to me multiple times, and it's pretty inconsistent. Seems like a lag issue honestly.

Cause they want to push PvP for whatever reason (probably cause they think it promotes longevity). Guess what kids, it doesn't. Get used to seeing one team basically afk while the other team farms. I shouldn't have to PvP to get gear, but fuck me, that is exactly what I have to do.

I got that one a while back, I definitely did a double take when it popped up. It's one of the best looking shaders, IMO.
I really like it! i hope they don't rename it, lol

I'm currently wearing shader... 18327396-64703388!

If anyone wants to see my hysterical freakout that missed it live... http://www.twitch.tv/thehawkian/b/572488486 you can just watch from about 27:50 for the last 3 engrams I had left.

Blessing of the Gifted ya'll

edit: Arken is talking to me in the headset so it sounds like I'm talking to myself a bit

It makes everybody mad. PvE players don't enjoy being afk or just feeding the 360noscopers kills just to get gear. PvP players don't enjoy being on a team where half the people are just AFK or just rolling over the opposition. It's literally a lose-lose situation, that's why all experienced MMO designers know that you don't force PvE players to PvP and vice versa.

Just got the Stranger's Rifle and I love it in PVE. Is it any good in PVP?

I used it in PvP for like 10 games before I dismantled it.

It's alright, and you'll get some kills with it. You're going to get eaten alive by Auto Rifles though.

Crucible reward's strange coins? I never noticed since I haven't played it much.

Out of the 120+ games of PvP I have played, I've gotten probably 5 Strange Coins. You do not get them often.

Yep, but here I am, afking in PvP. Great design.

IF I had competitive and fair PvP I would be all for it, but that isn't the case. Put people that group together in a separate mode, like ever other FPS on the market. Don't force PvE people to play PvP, etc. shit isn't hard. Crap like this is only going to kill the game.

Here's the video of our GAF fireteam taking down Atheon in 6 minutes:

This was the first time we killed final raid boss. For one of us, it was the first time just playing the raid!

Special thanks to super_famicom for helping out earlier with strategy.

We could have beaten Atheon in 5 minutes with a little more damage, easily doable next time.
