Now that I've unlocked more skills for Titan defender I love the bubble shield in Pvp. I feel like Im helping my team. (At least those smart enough to realize they get shield boost) and can actually help turn the tide a little in a close game despite being average at gunplay 
Also wtf how much range does the comedian shotgun have when ads? Some dude was wrecking everyone using only that gun in rumble...and he was definitely not in normal shotty range most of the time...

After having done the raid let me say this:
Sunsinger is ridiculously OP and super fucking useful in it. Like jesus fucking christ. Sunsinger and maybe titan shields are like the two things you need to do this raid lol. You'd literally be fine with just sunsingers even. It's almost hilarious how awesome returning from the dead is during the final boss fight.

Suros Regime is an amazing gun. Slower fire rate while aiming down sights felt like bullet time and I got some headshot kills far beyond my low ability. Will probably be the first gun I max out. I didn't see any one else with it through 5 matches so probably won't be as common as we think.

really easy on devil's lair
mesh layers - stay on the balcony behind the crate towards the back of the room if you find yourself being swarmed below. only have to worry about a couple fallen jumping up there, snipers and grenades.
devil walker - stay on the left side near the crates. just focus on the mobs straight ahead and pop out to do damage when your teammates distract the walker. you have two major line of sight blockers for when he starts aiming at you. alternatively, you can stay off to the right side near the corner building and just worry about the adds that spawn below. as long as you're paying attention, you wont get hit
sepiks - ironically, the safest place in this fight is the closest to sepiks, up on the left balcony. he rarely teleports here, and if he does it's only for a few seconds. for the rest of the fight, he can't hit you if you're using the fallen crate as cover. none of the adds come up there either except for a couple shanks. you only have to watch out for the fallen ship. the hallway you enter is safer until 4 or so fallen (one being a shielded captain) spawn. if you don't have rockets or an AoE super, they can overwhelm you.
the nexus strike is also easy if you cheese the final boss. just be mindful of your surroundings and carry elemental fusion rifles whenever you can. also helps to boost your class armor
funny story, sepiks was low health and i was about to finish my last strike for that bounty until i accidentally rocketed myself by shooting a wall.
As a sunsinger, aw yiss.

We had 3 sunsingers, 1 voidwalker (who would have chosen sunsinger if it wasn't for not having gotten too far in it), a gunslinger hunter and I believe a striker titan.
Started at 10 pm central, finished at 1:30 am central. It would have been faster too but the last boss fight requires so much coordination and knowing what to do that on your first time for 4 of you it's almost a guarantee you'll die unless one of you knows what to do, decides to go to orbit and explains the plan. That's how we beat it.
We had to do it exclusively with people in our friends list. Couldn't even send a friend request to two of the guys because lol psn

And again you seem to be missing the entire point. You seem to be acting as if everyone plays like you do. From the looks of it you basically just took any piece that increased your light. Which is fine, I'm not telling you how to play. It isn't what I want though, I want a specific build/stat set. I want pure Int/Disc/Auto Rifle gear, guess what, I have to PvP.
Why do I have to PvP? Because FOUR out of the FIVE vendors are tied to PvP, that is 100% BS. Look up to my previous edit, or I can re type it w/e.
The game 100% pushes PvP, it is the most efficient way to get the specific stat's that you want.

Pretty depressing to hear that Hunters are almost dead weight in raids. Hopefully people aren't looking down on Hunters just yet as I'd like to do it soon.

I actually like the PVP in this game but it is bullshit how most of the vendors are tied to it. All you can do otherwise is grind Vanguard rep/marks, Do the queens thing for a hat and body or rely on luck from drops. It's stupid.

The grenade spam in the last boss are taking over 3000 damage per grenade... and with the Relic filling the super you become immortal... you die, revive, the super finish and you super is already full again to die, revive...

It isn't like its hard to PvP in this game. It is just ANOTHER time grind to be able to get all your ranks / marks ..... just play Control and run around capping points ....

Not really. The main use of sunbros, and sunbros exclusively, is that they can revive from the dead with their super once you reach a certain skill in the trees. The rest of the classes/subclasses have to deal with waiting to be revived, that's the main issue. And in the raid there's a timer before someone can be revived. So a death can be a big deal when every player counts.
Having somebody that knows what to do is a big help. I swear, easily 20 minutes of our raid time was just spent discussing strategies. If you want tips for that first boss, assuming you haven't beaten him, then
whoever has the relic needs to stay away from the boss and take care of the random enemies. The other guys need to be spread out, 3 and 2 with the groups on opposite sides, and take care of oracles. Then the relic bro can use the shield move, take down the shields of the enemy, and everybody but him/her focuses on the enemy, no excuses unless there's an oracle next to you. During this time the relic person needs to run around killing the random baddies to fill up the super. Also if you have that shield wrapped around you punch the crap out of it, don't try to run away as it will kill you

So just because I had nothing better to spend my Motes of Light on, I decided to pick up the Blessing of the Gifted emblem from the speaker, which according to that theory increases the drops / conversion of the cryptarch.
Still a very small sample size, and so could just be a placebo effect, however I've had some good results:
- Received 5 - 7 blue engrams over the course of doing 5 strikes with some friends.
- Received 2 purple engrams over the course of doing the same 5 strikes.
- One of the blue engrams turned into a rare gauntlet (first time blue became purple for me in 60+ hours).
- Both of the purple engrams became legendary items (scout rifle and a helmet).
- All of this pushed me to a new Cryptarch level, which gave me a Mote, a blue engram, and a purple engram (both of which became Motes as well)
Going to keep it on for a while for some more testing, but pretty happy with results now that I finally got some real purple drops.

I am. And I'm saying to get your fucking vendor gear via PvP it's just ANOTHER time grind. You can lose every single game in PvP but you'll still eventually get your marks/rep to buy whatever you want.
You were originally complaining about PvP balance. If you don't like the game you're in ... just go to Orbit ... what is the penalty?
Who cares if PvP is unbalanced if all you're aiming for is marks/rep so you can get gear pieces?

1. Keep saving up marks for legendary armor.
2. Assuming you don't have either chest or helmet from legendary, then go do a queen's bounty in the bounty list. Complete as many as you can, PvE ones are easier. Then turn them in. Go to orbit and there's an option for Queen's missions in the side bar on the left. Choose it, if you didn't get the earth mission return to orbit immediately. Rinse and repeat until you get earth each time. Complete the mission and you are guaranteed either legendary helmet, legendary chest, and sometimes a legendary ship or sniper (but helmet or chest is a guarantee). Then you'd have even one more piece of gear.
3. If you can buy an exotic piece of armor from xur. You need 13 strange coins. If once again it's a piece you don't have even better, put that on.
4. Once you are decked in as much legendary and exotic pieces you are good to go. Heck as long as you have legendary on level them up. Keep leveling them up up until before the vertical shield upgrades as those require ascendant shards. Those are better spent on raid exclusive gear and exotics. If you level up all your regular legendaries up until before the shards upgrades, then fully upgrade your exotic armor piece, you will be level 28. At 27 it's the recommended level to do the raid.

You can also prevent the boss from teleporting by standing in the circle that spawns in its Line of sight. Only problem is that the boss spawns Minotaurs whenever you do that. Best way ti deal with them is prevent the boss from teleporting two consecutive times and then let it teleport on the 3rd time to deal with the adds.

Side note for people deciding whether to buy an exotic weapon or armor; yes weapons cost more, but there is only 6 known exotic armor pieces in the game for each class, ignoring the marks, bonds, and capes. Chances are you will likely see most of them again through Xur in the next couple months, as I'm guessing new exotic armor won't be added until the expansion in December. I believe there are around 20 exotic weapons on the other hand, so if you see a weapon you crave even a bit, I say go for it.

2. Don't like the group you're matched with? Leave.
Go afk. I really don't give a shit. Hopefully you're on the other team and I can get free kills / free wins.
