In the Exotic Bounty for Incentive, what does a K/D of 25 mean? Like 2.5 K/D ratio or like...25 kills to zero deaths lol.

I did that last night and I still have no idea. All I'll say is it's not as hard as it seems, I'd just forget about it and play normally.

it makes sense since they're all opposing factions with differing ideologies as to how future should be handled. again, you're just looking at it from a faction point of view, which doesn't take into account the multiple other avenues of getting items from pve content

And you couldn't accomplish their goals via killing the other factions in game without killing other players. Don't be silly, it's absurd from a game design standpoint to have 4 factions for PvP and 1 for PvE.

The factions can be obtained via Vanguard/Crucible , all I'm asking is the items be purchasable via the same method. I really don't think it is that much of a stretch. I got your faction via PvE, let me buy your goods via PvE marks. Yes/No?

It doesn't really when that doesn't come up in any way shape or form in the game. It doesn't pick your team based on your faction. The factions aren't fleshed out in any way shape or form in game.

However, each faction vendor does offer different stats on their armor, and different types of guns, not to mention you can get faction rep in PvE, so it really doesn't make sense that you have to go to the crucible to earn faction gear at all. And I say this as someone who enjoys the pvp part of the game more than the PvE part.

Just got Invective and holy hell it's so broken lol. I don't even feel good about using it but I think it's time to take out all the pain and frustration I've had to endure at the hands of shotgun users.

That fire rate...

Wait, they actually said, ranged damage and/or stability.
Guess we'll have to wait and see. I dont expect them to be that much worse though. ARs will still be viable.

Of course they'll be viable. They should be. They just need to lose their position of unquestioned dominance.

/clap

Honestly no need, it is really common sense. I can get your faction via PvE, why can I not buy your shit with PvE marks? Game design 101.

Depends on the pulse rifle, in either case Hand Cannons are the second most viable simply because they actually kill faster than AR's if you have perfect aim. Pulse rifles don't really fill that niche, they work the same way AR's do and don't do better at it. They're viable, more so than Scout rifles anyway.

Some pulse rifles are two shot kills. The thing that people don't realize is that the stability is a bigger factor on them than just about any other weapon - once the PRs get that further in their trees, they turn into focused halo 2 battle rifles and kill off two headshots while holding HC level hipfire accuracy

easily the most neglected weapon in the game and only because they are worse starting out than every other weapon

Also you guys probably already know this but apparently, if you play beyond the reset period where the bounties reset, do those bounties you want to do, THEN when you turn off your console or log out of Destiny AND THEN come back on, those same bounties you did before come back again.

Easy Rep. XD

Interesting. I have a Bad Seed Down with a stability mod down the line which gets it close to maximum. I'll give it a shot

How are they in pve? Only used an early level one and I found each burst does less combined than a hand cannon round.

I'm doing the Weekly Heroic if anyone wants in! PSN: ultrajari. I'm on PS4.

A painted big chief hand cannon is a two headshot kill right off the bat and doesn't have stability issues and has a 9 shot clip. Well, actually the stability is low, but it doesn't matter because you're not shooting off 3 shots simultaneously. A good pulse rifle with a stability fix is harder to find than a good hand cannon, or a good Auto-rifle.

That'll make the Sahara and its shootalikes even more worthless. Might even put the Galahad next to the Sahara in terms of worthlessness...

So they are fixing the cryptarch...awesome...does that mean you will only get items for your class? Just wasted 24 notes of light on a helmet I cant use....yeah fuck you.

You sure about that? I've used many hand cannons and they've never hit for over 100 unless it was a money shot. Highest I've seen is 95 from a Regulator headshot which had the same impact as the Chief

Certain. I didn't get 2 shot headshots on everyone, some warlocks and Titan's take 3, I think it matters whether or not they're specced for armor. Also, it does hit for 95.

Got Bad Juju. It really is kind of aggravating to use. Sometimes when holding the trigger for the full auto it'll just... stop firing with ammo still in the clip. Also, the glowing shit needs to be toned down. Really obscures your vision.

That said I got another exotic bounty. Choice was the shotgun (which I don't like to use) and the Hand Cannon and... Bad Juju again? Lol? Took the Hand Cannon. On the void damage part. Really sucks being a class without a Void Super (Hunter).

I thought that was an issue with my controller. I've had the same happen on other "full auto" upgraded weapons. It'll just randomly stop being full auto.

Ah, makes sense. It seems like a lot of people run toughness in pvp. Maybe I've never encountered someone without.

I've never seen a hunter survive more than two head shots though. And it's hard to believe you haven't been running into hunters. Curious. I do know for a fact that the Painted big chief gets two shots though, I've done it more than enough times.

yeah

but every handcannon has its own 'unique' degree of adjustment as well as a huge lack of range

late game PRs are beastly. feels like alpha again in some ways

25 more kills/assists than deaths. You going 10/5/7 would get you up to a spread of 8 for example.

I don't have this bounty yet, but I know it would still be nearly impossible for me to complete. I'm usually in the 0.2 to 0.5 K/D ratio anyway. If you add in assists it probably creeps up to 0.7 or 0.8. I think I've only had one game that I ever sniffed a 1.0 K/D ratio which mean (Kills + Assists) - Deaths is usually negative for me on nearly every match I play.

Does anyone know if the bounty counts down for a bad game? Say I got it up to 10, but then had a bad game with a K/D spread of -4, would it go down to 6?

If I ever get this bounty, I am going to have to cheese it some how.

Could be my memory acting up tbh lol

I haven't used a Regulator for a couple weeks now. Moved to The Devil You Know. Doesn't hit as hard but it's better in every other way.

Well, true about the range. But that doesn't really come up as an issue very often with the maps we're given.

Did some crucible tonight with friends. Most definitely not my thing, though it was fun with people I know. Saw lots of Suros kicking around and realizes quickly that my scout wasn't really helpful on most of the maps we got.

Think I'll just stick to what I'm good at and enjoy which is pve. I should be logging a healthy amount of hours this weekend so hopefully I'll be open if someone needs a 3rd (or sixth).

I thought the same thing. I can't seem to figure out what the trigger mechanism for the issue is. It'll just happen randomly.

i wouldn't say every one has a lack of range
