Damn, lol. I was clearing out trash from my inventory and I discarded one of my legendary rocket launchers. Funny thing is I was thinking why is this taking so long to trash...

I used the standard Suros for a while, incredible. However I have upgraded mine to the slower ROF and seem to be doing even better with it.
Still seems ludicrously powerful and I can aim it better now.

Mine is stock since i just got it and after reading all the complaints about upgrading it i'm not touching mine. Keeping it like this.
Bungie really shouldn't screw with the auto-rifle distance, this gun makes the game so much smoother and efficient. I don't feel hindered.

So I finally got the prompt for an exotic bounty last night. Any suggestions about which one I should chose? It's a choice between the handgun, pulse rifle (heard bad things about the juju), or the shotgun.
Ideally it would be good for both PvP and PvE, but who knows if that's reasonable.

I like the slower firerate upgrade on the suros, but I was using scout rifles previously and I always aim for the head. It's 4 shots to kill which is fine, pistols is only 2 so I like those more sometimes but yeah.

In PvE and Iron Banner with the damage upgrades, absolutely, but I can't help feeling that since things are normalized in PvP it won't help. I guess some of it comes down to my play style. I like to aim for center mass and let the recoil bring the sights up to the head. Works nicely with the Galahad, but I'm constantly loosing out with the Suros.
I love the Invective shotgun and the bounty is easy. Bad juju is getting buffed, so it might not be as bad down the road. Haven't used the exotic handcannon, but I love my legendary handcannon for PVE.

May just not be the gun for me since I can't aim...
I think I'm just going to buy a second with my extra strange coins, and then try my upgraded one later when I have more upgrades. The lower half dealing more damage may push it into the usable column for me.

I have that bounty as well, but every time I go to an area where an event is about to happen I always seem to be the only one there. Apparently they're less likely to occur if there's only one person.
It's super interesting seeing different peoples tactics on it. All going to mid seems like the most popular one. My group on the first week just stayed by the portals we had opened, the shield holder blasted the super at him (15K crits) and everyone made sure to endless throw grenades between shooting since that did a few thousands damage each and he dropped pretty quick.
